Combining club functionality and cinematic sound design this EP leaves no stone unturned.

‘No More’ has already conquered most dance floors around the UK and the world being played by the biggest names in the scene like Ben UFO, Joy O, Special Requests etc.

‘Duinpan’ is a pounding garage banger with mind bending sound design.

‘M.e.S’ the final track is a collaboration with label boss TSVI, and it definitely is the cherry on the cake incorporating both the signature Nervous Horizon sound and Josi Devil’s cold & slick production.

Welcome back to a second round of 100% FLINTA productions from the Bass Angels community. Angels work around the clock.

Though most tracks are still tucked safely in the Angel Vault for now, expect everything from h’n’g to trance, dubstep, and techno by familiar names such as Kurei, the ultra-prolific L.A. bass star; Juno Super, Cambridge’s underground garage-house expert; and some precious unreleased gems from Megan Wroe, the UK’s number one garage rising star.

Fia, the trance diva, blesses the mix with her shimmering euphoric energy; while Lilotus, one to watch for Breaks fans, brings percussive energy to the dance with her track "One". Paris’ most booked garage and baile star, Scolcab, sent over a bouncy, bassy 4x4 banger, one that be shown off into every club set from now on.

Adding depth to the mix are Soupe Froide, Marseille’s hard-hitting craftswoman of cold dubstep drops, and Gyrofield, the one and only sorceress of intelligent, bassy soundscapes.

Let's not forget the London babes: Kutchi, Kitsch (feat. London Hatred), NIIX, and Midrib. Kutchi contributes an unreleased grimey gem co-produced with her friend DrumPhill; London Hatred delivers a deliciously emotionally dancey garage remix of Kitsch's "Go Out Dancing" (released on the womxn-championing label Not Bad for a Girl); NIIX showcases her latest project on CDR, "La Cantina", featuring her own vocals, an invitation to lose ourselves on the dancefloor; and Midrib's signature techy minimal dubstep and crisp snares remain instantly recognisable (always elegant, always precise).

No Bass Angels project would be complete without Manchester's Softgel, a champion of the local femme scene, who's entrusted me once again with one of their unique experimental pieces.

The mix also welcomes s0mbra, representing the Canadian label Unbeyond Anthologies, with some unconventional, cutting-edge dubstep designed for both headphone introspection and big system impact. 

Liverpool's Puncta produces shiny, fast, and futuristic 2-step, pure ear candy, hitting that sweet CloudCore-adjacent satisfaction spot with ease.

We close with a gorgeously melodic and dreamy 152 bpm piece by another Unbeyond Anthologies artist, the prolific and capable Stellar Dendrites.

A very special thank you to every Angel who shared their precious tracks. Here’s to many more. This mix was pure joy to record! A celebration of everything this community stands for: safety, belonging and creative freedom. Bass Angels is a gift that keeps on giving, an inspiration for the femme fighters of club music.
