Puzzlebox Records Classic Electro / Techno Label Returns. Label owner Keith Tucker aka K-1 is back with his own Brand of Electro Funk with infectious bass lines and unmistakable vocals from one of the genres hardest working artist and label owners. Over the years Tucker has done it all from visuals for live shows , label art work, dj’ing all over the world to also touring as a founding member of Aux88.

His new release is “Modular World “side A is an electro banger with Tuckers amazing arpeggiator work reminiscent of his great Optic Nerve techno alias. Modular World has a hypnotizing arp and Funky bassline that hits your soul and quickly programs your mind to dance mode. The haunting Vocal and electronic vocoder work is unmistakable K-1 at his best. Listen to the way he combines his voices to form his own distinct sound.

Side B. “Schematix” brings this special two track ep to A thunderous boom with a more retro bass styling that shows his programming skills, K-1 is able to manipulate his mixes to showcase his intelligent techno side with the street funk of Detroit.
“Schematix” dark sci-fi drone vocals kick off the k-1 mix to get any crowd to run to the dance floor.

Modular World - K1

bijū arose from the need to explore the intersection of machine and body. The need to blur the boundaries between dehumanized electronic sound and the natural environment. Its selection is a constant search between minimalist and dense, dynamic and slow, sharp and blurry sounds.
The album presents strength of vision in artist's style and that is aesthetics of dystopian future, where slow motion martial marches meet ghostly rituals, cleverly blended with synth melancholy enriched by echoes of psychedelia and industrial rawness. An attempt to reach the undefined emotions between commotion and anger, sublimity and thrill, which, along with grief and hatred were brought by the war in his homeland in Ukraine.
As part of the Warsaw based Ukrainian collective SUMISH wants to strengthen interactions between people through synergies, exchange of vision and knowledge, building bridges between the migrant community and local society through the different creative disciplines. Author of the program Gnostic Methods, dedicated to slow-rolling and experimental electronic music - every month on Radio Kapitał.

Lazercat - Dissociation Constant

Italian label ALLEY VERSION continues its 'Tracks From The Alley' series of releases with a fourth instalment in which it continues to explore the oblique edges of the jackin zone, dragging recognisable primitive elements of dance music through the narcotic madness; a possible soundtrack for sleepless nights at the skate park. 

In this new volume, the Japanese producer Takeshi Kouzuki, who besides having participated in the previous instalments, has been, together with FLML, the most collaborative artist in this project, is missing. We should bear in mind that the first volume of 'Tracks From The Alley' was a split album between both projects. On the other hand, this new 4-track mini-compilation features the Greek DJ/producer DimDj, the Italian producer based in Berlin and part of Sons Of Traders, TANS, the Brazilian based in Portugal and owner of the Unrealistic Expectations label Nothing Was There, and the FLML brothers, owners of ALLEY VERSION.

Nothing Was There is Edvan Marques Ferreira, aka MVQX. The project was born to be the output of all his live-cassette recordings and that's the case of the track 'The Owl (House Slaughter)', a raw combo of jackin beats and industrial music, recorded with two machines and a delay pedal directly into a cassette tape.
