Music is a gateway. Within it there are mystic portals that can transport you to parts of this world you have never walked.

The name of the track hints at the magical possibilities music has to be gateways into different states of consciousness and into other realms entirely.
It was such a beautiful process creating this music. Like a wild dance in the forest where hidden gates kept opening and inviting me to step in to learn their secrets.

Combining my favorite elements: nature recordings, real instruments and electronic sounds, you will find in this track creaking trees, birdcalls and small running creatures, haunting flutes and kalimba in a mystic eastern scale, singing in call and response with trippy psychedelic sounds spirits and beautiful longing vocals. All driven on by a slowed down powerfull psytrance style kick&bass and groovey percussion. There is even a theremin singing in there.

This track contains many hidden gates, and you are welcome to step into them...

This month's guest in Sub-Y-Dub-Y-Doo is SUEFO. In his eclectic sets he plays downtempo, dub, easy listening, lounge, hip-hop, jazz, funk, electro-swing and world music (balkan, latin, afro, oriental). Suefo is a DJ-producer-organizer and radio host of Radio Tilos from Budapest. He is a member of different eclectic formations: Savages y Suefo, Savages & Tripcat, The Worldstylers, Vono Box and Sannan. In the last 28 years he played Hungary-wide and several times abroad from the Azores to Moscow, from Copenhagen to Milan. With Savages they are the founders of Mana Mana Records.
