Last September, we were informed of the awful news of Andy Panayi passing. Following a short battle with cancer, the gentleman, innovator and role model of this movement left us with the countless memories and stacks of timeless music.

It is with great pleasure and the word of Alec, we present this special mix of these two UK legends in full flow, spinning records in their natural habitat of the dance.

nICo - "Unexplored Earths" EP - OUT NOW!

Milan-based electronic music producer nICo unveils his debut solo EP, "Unexplored Earths" on label Estuary Tapes. 
These four meticulously crafted tracks arrive in Spring 2024 and come with original artwork by the Estuary Tapes label boss.
Five years of experimentation, expanding methods of composition led nICo to create a piece of work where electronica, downtempo, ritual rhythms, and dub aesthetics converge in a dance of sonic exploration.
This EP invites listeners to pay attention to its textures: the hypnotic grooves and pulsating rhythms of "The Red Sun", the evocative atmospheres of "The Old City", the dub-infused beats of “Saturation Dub”, where layers of sound create depth and intensity, and finally the introspective acid arpeggios of “Visions”.

A few key pieces of gear were key to shaping the sound of the EP: the Nord Drum 3 is at the base of all the tracks, while the Roland JU06 and Behringer Crave synths combined with reverbs and echoes bring an immersive feel, adding further colour and emotions.

@olf4 ist 27 Jahre alt und lebt in Wien. Seine Liebe für Musik hat ihn früh auf
zahlreiche Dancefloors unterschiedlichster Partys gebracht, wodurch er in verschiedenste
Arten von elektronischer Musik eintauchen konnte. Seit 5 Jahren legt er nun selbst gerne auf
und ist Teil der Wiener Musikszene. Während er weiter ein offenes Herz für viele Genres von
Downtempo bis hin zu Techno trägt, hat er sich in den letzten zwei Jahren auf House, Deep
Tech / Minimal, Acid Sounds und Breaks fokussiert. Bei seinen Sets stehen für ihn groovige
Basslines und bouncy Sounds im Vordergrund, die einen zugleich entspannten Vibe sowie Energie zum Tanzen generieren.
Für das 1h Set bei Res.Radio bringt Olf verschiedene Styles von House zusammen. Von Microhouse, Deep Tech, Space Funk, Breaks, über verträumteren Deep House bis hin zu

 @olf4 is 27 years old dj based in Vienna. His love of music drew him to
numerous dancefloors at a wide variety of parties at an early age, allowing him to immerse
himself in different types of electronic music. For five years now, he has enjoyed DJing
himself and is part of the Viennese music scene. While he still has an open heart for many
genres from downtempo to techno, he has focused on house, deep tech / minimal, acid and
breaks in the last two years. His sets focus on groovy basslines and bouncy sounds that
generate a relaxed and harmonious vibe as well as harmonious energy for dancing.
For the 1h set at Res.Radio, Olf blends different styles of house together. From Microhouse,
Deep Tech, Space Funk, Breaks, over dreamy Deep House to relaxed Ambient House. Have

Featherstone - Out Of Reach

This is my first mix after completing a basic djing course, taught by my friend, the well-known and experienced dj Arsenii Palash at Resonance DJ School. I took 8 classes (16 hours) in Dnipro, Ukraine. Under military conditions, during large-scale rocket attacks, with constant power outages.

I created this mix on professional Pioneer equipment in real time during my last class. In difficult conditions. Limited by time, without the opportunity to redo anything. As I was leaving Ukraine that day. So, please don't judge too harshly as this is my first attempt.

I'm very grateful to all my friends who have already listened to this mix and persuaded me to make it public! Especially Vlad Fisun & Tanya Enjoy Tet, thank you both for your support and inspiration!

It was only recently that I realized how important this mix is to me and how much it's worth listening to. I hope you get as much pleasure from listening to it, as I did from creating it! Because that's the main idea! Enjoy!
