World Tour time again on Global DJ Broadcast, and in the height of the summer season, we come live to you from the biggest show of them all - the massive Tomorrowland festival in Boom, Belgium. Markus Schulz was privileged to play three sets across the two weekends - his mixes on the Trance Energy and A State of Trance stages are both available on his YouTube channel. And to complete the set, we bring you the action direct from the mainstage on the Sunday of weekend one, with Markus performing the now traditional Daybreak Session. Starting the day and building things up... from nothing at all.

After two incredibly successful and beautifully orchestrated Gatecrasher Classical events at Sheffield City Hall, jumping on the decks at Gatecrasher for the 24th Birthday celebrations to execute that "journey of pumping Trance" to the masses, complemented the night perfectly and was nothing short of sublime. 

I came on fairly early from 11 and surprisingly by that time, the main room dancefloor was packed out! As expected, my mix consisted of numerous exclusives and I built my set up from the opening tune. It was like the crowd were synchronized to the music, they grew more energetic with each track that was played with those magical moments hands in the air moments when Charlie and I's new collaboration with Marcella Woods was dropped. Another of notable recognition was "Sweet Release" which is always incredibly well received!!

Overall, really pleased with all the positive feedback for Gatecrasher Classical as well as my DJ set. Here's to the next 24 years a little something to feed those post-Gatecrasher blues!!! :)

Hot off the dark shaded ‘No Saint Out Of Me’, the Norwegian producer sets the tone with another 7 minute work of art. The pre-taste of what awaits us of his second artist album, the follow-up to the successful ‘In My Opinion’, is more than promising. It’s unlike any of his previous works, yet carries that unmistakable Nilsen sound. 

Building at a right speed, rapidly unfolding its melodic character and kicking in right after its break. That’s what ‘Violetta’ is all about. Another tune that deserves the Armind halo on top.
