This track blends Enigma-style melancholy with festival psy-trance power: rolling off-beat sub, heavy tom/frame-drum grooves, and wide, cinematic pads that open into a long, emotional breakdown before a massive, syncopated drop. Subtle rain/forest-like ambience (synthesized), tape-echo motifs, and metallic risers create a haunted, reflective space, while a gated-reverb “vacuum” right before the drop makes the impact slam. Vocal version features non-lexical chant whispers (soft “ah—oh—eh”)—no sampled ceremonies or sacred material; all chants are original textures.

Over the last 20+ years, BMSS Records has become renowned for fostering genuine boundary-breaking innovation within the underground trance scene. 

To celebrate the label’s 200th release, head honcho Boom Shankar presents 2 masterful remixes of his classic collaboration with Malta’s Soul Kontakt. Having already been remixed by some of the scene’s greatest producers, this EP closes the circle by getting some of the finest emerging talent to give this timeless classic a fresh interpretation.

First up, BMSS’s latest signings from the US and from France (Qhemist & The Trancemancer) pump the track up to 145 bpm and give it a veritable turbo charge - transmogrifying the original’s uplifting vibes into a acidic monster for the Twilight hours. The second remix is by dynamic Finish duo Inverse Out, who send the track catapulting at 147 bpm into Suomi realms. The result is an unexpected tale full of tribal twists and playful turns - already an all time favourite within the BMSS crew.

These 2 awe-inspiring remixes are a perfect way to celebrate this seminal milestone, allowing us to both reminisce over past achievements and glimpse at the label’s future as a trailblazer in the psychedelic scene.

At the end of the first decade of the new millennium the influence of contemporary club music on the Psy Trance scene is omnipresent: More and more producers from all the different corners of this style take up elements from Minimal and Techno. Others turn to very poppy melodies which unfortunately has a negative impact on the psychedelic deepness of the music. In this situation Solar Tech Records very consciously defines itself as an innovative platform for classical Psy Trance sounds in 2008. Without peering at recent trends, label founder DJ Natron is engaged in keeping up and promoting the original idea of this music. The result is driving dance music with a proper dose of thrill and piles of deep and psychedelic moments but without getting poppy, kitschy or hectic at any time. Laugi aka Natron gathered lots of experience not only as a long-year DJ but also as promoter of the popular Hamburg-based party series “Intact Expanda” and therefore developed a sophisticated feeling for the vibe of the scene. Solar Tech’s sound refers to new generation of artists that unites its local influences of the Trance hot spots South Africa, the UK, South America and Hamburg to an ever exciting and refreshing new mixture: Pushing dance music which makes your feet dancing and your mind floating in the club as well as on a sunlit dance floor of an open air festival!
