Rose Ringed is back with a brilliant dancefloor approved three-tracker on his own Closed Eyes Recordings imprint. 'The Journey' EP is pure Rose Ringed - high energy, fast and euphoric with just an edge of melancholy, referencing the trance CDs which were the soundtrack and emotional catharsis of his childhood. This EP will hit you in the heart. 

'You're Already There' has synths - the growling bassline, the slow-build chords, and the fast, choppy melodic riffs - competing between those arresting trancey breakdowns. 

'Reaching for Paradise' has a joyful flow with cascades of playful synth melody, and a spoken vocal motif, to hold even a champion multitasker like a blissed-out deer in heaven's headlights.

'Hold Tight' is insistent, commanding, with speedy scattery synth melody, powerful beat and drums, and a subtle flavour of Depeche Mode in the aftertaste. Just beautiful, lend it your ears, you won't want them back.

The Mambo Brothers return to the musical pages of Toolroom with a sun-drenched follow up to their debut release 'Momento', that landed back in 2016. This new offering is titled 'Sundogs' and you can rest assured that clubbers, radio jocks and industry folk alike will all be appreciating this gem.

The brothers have had quite a rapid rise to the top in recent years, obviously their home town of Ibiza is where they cut their teeth, not only as owners of the legendary 'Mambos' bar, but as budding DJ's and producers. Now with a string of strong and successful releases behind them, most recently on Nic Fanciulli's Saved label, they are forging a reputation in the world of music production, and rightly so. 'Sundogs' couldn't scream 'IBIZA' anymore if it came with an extortionate price tag, sunburn and a monster hangover! Chunky drums and lush Balearic chords that lend themselves to that sunset perfectly, this is truly epic stuff from the Ibiza legends.

The 3D DJs return with a spring in their step and the bit between their teeth all ready to complete their trilogy of EPs for Selador and arguably, they may have saved the best ‘til last.

With Darren, Dave & Danny now firmly ensconced in the studio together working on a collaborative album project, this EP signals the final piece in the trio’s original concept of releases where each contributes an individual track.

Danny opens proceedings this time with ‘Shortwave’, an ever present in his sets over the last year that finally gets to see the light of day. Listeners with a keen ear may recognise this as the track the 3Ders opened their Mixmag Lab session with in LA last year. A delicious slice of uplifting Howells house.

Darren is next up with ‘Sleeping Bag’, a paean to the legendary NYC imprint that combines a sublime house groove and a seductive arpeggio with spellbinding results. Proper classy business straight outta Billericay.

And last but by no means least, Dave weighs in ‘Press 1 For Human’, a veritable banger loaded with off kilter synth sirens and a bass line so muscular that we demand a dope test. Innocent until proven guilty though and be warned, we have very expensive lawyers!

All for one and one for all, three is the magic number.
