For this 21st opus of ‘crying is softer than you think’ we're delighted to welcome ClaudeBagarre, one of the cuties behind the set design for the 2024 edition of Paturia.

This is ClaudeBagarre's first recorded mix, which can be characterised as an extension of they plastic productions, in which they illustrates theyself through they metal and steel structures. A skilful blend of brutality and gentleness, reminiscent of the prickly beauty of a rose.

We’re super proud to welcome Rachel. this month — the protagonist of the 22nd episode of crying is softer than you think on Noods Radio.

Rachel., also known as Nicolas Jean-Jean, is a close friend who recorded Paturia in 2024 and is also known for running the label Run Level. He’s a musician and a person who inspires us deeply — not only through his talent but also through his kindness.

His latest album, released recently, reveals a singular musical vision — borrowing from ambient, glitch, hardcore, and other deconstructed genres. It blends elements that are at times obvious, at times more subtle, into a sound that is raw and condensed, yet remains poetic and sensitive.

This mix, much like his personality, is full of gentleness — perhaps tinged with a vision of discomfort that feels healing, even cathartic. It plunges us into a kind of melancholic adolescence, where neo-rock, ambient, glitch, and trip-hop collide to tell the story of a youth now gone.

For the 23rd episode of Crying is Softer Than You Think on Noods Radio, tune in to a deeply personal mix from Mari, recorded live at the third edition of Paturia Festival, nestled at the Moulin des Arbres in the heart of Auvergne.

This set is full of firsts — the first time Mari introduced live saxophone into her DJ performance, the first time she played in front of her mother, and the first time this unique venue hosted an intimate micro-gathering.

A sonic postcard from a sun-drenched Sunday afternoon — the final day of Paturia — where the wind stirred the trees and the music carried a sweet, cathartic intensity.

On this month’s Crying Is Softer Than You Think, we welcome Tristan (tristan.jpeg), a close friend and inspiring presence throughout our recent projects — especially during the most recent edition of our festival.

His presence, both quiet and generous, gave us real strength when we needed it most.
Beyond that, Tristan is a deeply talented person — in his work, his sensitivity, and the way he moves through music.

Known for his subtle yet deeply expressive selections, Tristan blends delicate textures, emotional electronics, and genre-bending soundscapes with effortless precision.

This set is both a tribute and a shared moment — intimate, generous, and full of quiet strength.
