With a rich sound drawn primarily from his love of 60s and 70s music, New Yorker Scott Krokoff (pron: Crow-Cough) weaves elements of folk rock & country pop into confessional and compelling Americana.  He is an evocative and introspective songwriter, and a deft finger-picker in the vein of James Taylor and Paul Simon with “an edge of Replacements styled alt rock to his strum” (Hiplanta).  Scott has opened for Elle King and Grace Weber, toured from Vermont to Nashville, played live in Belgium for his biggest fan, and received radio airplay throughout the US, Canada and Europe.

Leading independent publisher, Music-news.com (which has retained the top "music news" Google search position for 16 years), calls Scott a "favourite" and his latest single, My Own Terms, "inspiring and powerful," noting that "[t]he second that kick drum comes in to start the song, you can't help but immediately want to hop in a convertible, put your arms out and ride off into the next chapter of your life."  Music-News.com was also a fan of Scott's last single in 2019, Groundhog, remarking that Scott's music "has a compelling way of instantly drawing the listener in."  Medium.com called Scott's first 2019 single, Cubicle, "a sublimely gorgeous song." 

Scott’s last record, 2015’s Realizations & Declarations, Vol. 2, also received rave reviews praising Scott’s “graceful tales of morality and perseverance” (The Vinyl District) and "music in the vein of 1960s and ’70s songsmiths, but also recalling hot up-and-comers like Father John Misty” (PopDose).

Faking my age, in my early teens in the 80's I ventured into some of the biggest clubs in London playing High Energy music to massive crowds, and, as House Music began to evolve, the first underground clubs that started to play it in London to a handful of eager early shakers.
As underground House began to fuse in the early 90's with the mainstream sounds of the bigger clubs I became one of London's first Go-Go dancers, with a weekly residency at one of London's legendary nights in the history of Dance Music, Love Muscle at The Fridge in Brixton, and occasional appearances around the same time at Space in Ibiza.
In the mid 1990s I moved to the States, living in LA, San Franciso, Miami and New York, and soon became a child of the Circuit, regularly attending Probe and The House of Blues in LA, Universe and Mass in San Francisco, Salvation in Miami, Twilo, Equinox and The Roxy in New York and most of the big Circuit Parties in America throughout the year, alongside the clubs in Ibiza, London, Sydney and around the world.
Since then my tastes have evolved to include Tech House and Techno, and Tribal continues to course through the rhythm of my life.

Oceanography is the solo project of Oakland-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Brian Kelly. He brings a unique pop sensibility to bittersweet songs of heartbreak, loss, and longing, recalling at times The War on Drugs, My Morning Jacket, and The Cars.
