A massive thanks to everyone who shared this Mad Monday with me for my closing set on the Bushtechno stage. This set was super special for me. I just love closing sets and long sets also and this one was something else. The setting, the crowd and the organisation from top to bottom was absolute top notch and to ride this one into the sunset with you all was super special.

Lincoln is an old-school raver at heart, with over twenty years of experience crafting unique live sets. Known for his ability to tailor performances to the vibe of any event, his genres range from hard-edged Acid Techno to breakbeat Glitch, with countless sub-genres in between.

Since 2013, Lincoln has been delivering live electronic sets at renowned Melbourne venues such as My Aeon, Sub Club, Rubix Warehouse, Howler Bar, Renaissance Festival, and live streaming on Kiss FM. He has performed for renowned events such as Hardware Theory by Cat House, Barba and 150% Live by 150 BPM. His musical productions and remixes, under the alias Machinist, have been featured on labels like Acidworx, New York Haunted, and Slice Records.

Driven by a personal need for sonic therapy, Lincoln’s performances are entirely hardware-based, allowing for real-time experimentation and improvisation. His sound is a dynamic exploration of texture and shades, blurring the lines between sonic extremes and creating a deeply immersive experience for the audience. Further expanding his contributions to the live electronic scene, Lincoln has recently taken on the role of manager for 150% LIVE, a live hardware-only event curated by the 150 BPM crew.

Coloured By The Sound (Extended Edit)

Sol Flare a.k.a Dominic Wood combines 80’s synths, electronic beats and soulful vocal lines to create his own unique style of melodic electronic.  

2018’s ‘Chroma’ EP and the following string of singles including ‘Blueshift’, ‘Retrofit’ and 'Coloured by the Sound' saw support from BBC Introducing, London Live, 6Music & Amazing Radio. While based in the UK, Sol Flare performed well-received sets at Blue Dot, Kendal Calling and London Live festivals. Early 2020 saw Sol Flare take his energetic live set on a run of Australian club shows at Oxford Arts Factory, Melbourne’s Laser Highway and the infamous Elsewhere in Surfers Paradise. 

Now based in Melbourne, Sol Flare has kept busy during lockdown finalising upcoming releases and organising numerous international streaming festivals as co-founder of Synth Stream. 2021 will see Sol Flare return to the Australian club circuit, before more shows and releases later in the year.
