Retired DJ/Producer from Chitown. REALLY miss the old days. But new music I find on here makes me happy! Very glad the torch has been passed carefully and it's encouraging to see that the true old skool kids are now the professors to the new generation. May come out of retirement and put some new tracks up if I find time to do so. 
Started on tech 12's and a DJM 500. I feel old cause everyone is using CDJs lol. It is the age of the sampler too! Technology has changed the sounds so much!

Biography

Nems-B (Nahim Bendjilali), born in 1979 in Aix-en-Provence, is a French DJ and producer with over 20 years of experience.

Rooted in Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Hip Hop, he embraced House and Techno in the mid-90s.

Known for his refined selections and technical skills, he runs the podcast/event platforms Phonons and Deepness Road.

He has performed at top venues across France (Concrète, Glazart, Terminal, La Java, Les Jardins Suspendus) and internationally at Tresor (Berlin), Paral·lel Festival (Spain), Contact (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), Gare (Porto), and more.

His music has been released on Oslated, Geometrika FM, On Board Music, Goldmin Music, Accent Records, with upcoming EPs on Lemme Records.

The best is yet to come.
