This song was originally written for the album but I never quite finished it in time so I had to hold it back. With the album out I finally managed to get it together and really wanted to push it out to finally finish the STOKER story. thank u :))

The song is from the 1980 Motorhead album "Ace of Spades." It's one of Motorhead's most popular and iconic songs. 

"Ace of Spades" has a fast, aggressive tempo and driving rhythm. The lyrics talk about gambling and taking risks, using card playing metaphors. Lines like "The ace of spades means death" and "You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools" reflect the song's dangerous, high-stakes theme.

1985 - The Dead Milkmen recorded a radio promo bumper for the then college-run WXPN radio station promoting the punk, new-wave, and college-rock radio show called "Yesterday's Now Music Today". The program was moving from late Sunday nights to weekdays from 3-5pm. The altered lyrics give a shout-out to DJs Eddie "Hacksaw" Richards and Jazz Connor.

This recording was made on a Fostex X-15 cassette 4-track recorder and transferred to computer.
