Solid Grooves serve up a five-track Ibiza sampler to tie in with their summer of events at Vista Club in Ibiza. In light of this the founders have curated five tracks from some of their core roster that’s illustrative of the Solid Grooves musical aesthetic including PAWSA and Michael Bibi alongside label favourites ONNO, Reelow and Dennis Cruz.

First up our Debut Transmission today, Dennis Cruz ‘Fever’ is a rumbling track boasting echoing percussion and a heady spoken word sample. Michael Bibi then drops a moody number teeming with syncopated rhythms and chopped vocals before ONNO unleashes a cavernous cut named ‘Body Shake’ that’s geared for the peaktime. Next, PAWSA ‘Luster’ is a bass fuelled roller that takes no prisoners until Reelow concludes the package with the intricate ‘Shaolin Slap’.

The Dirtybird Players have had a huge crush on the New York based duo Walker & Royce for a while now, as it's not uncommon to find at least one or two W&R bombs in their sets on tour. They’re unique and forward thinking approach to music has seen support come from as diverse as Pete Tong to Maceo Plex to Sasha to Adam Beyer. Campers are still buzzing about their set at last year's Dirtybird Campout, and Claude invited them as a guest for his Birdhouse stage at Mysteryland this Summer.

Dropping later this month on Stanton Warriors’ imprint Punks Music, ‘Lies’ is the debut collaboration between Dallas producer Left/Right and jACQ, packed with our Debut Transmission today, this killer remix from Billy Kenny and already picking up support from AC Slater, Claude VonStroke, Orbital Kry Wolf and Zinc.

Hailing from Dallas, Chris Lund aka Left/Right is an industry veteran with more than 15 years working as DJ, producer and promoter, with support for his music from a diverse range of artists including The Crystal Method, Massive Attack, My Nu Leng and Zed’s Dead. On ‘Lies’ he teams up with jACQ, a vocalist who has released music on some of the world’s largest and successful dance labels under various aliases, and has ghostwritten for a number of Grammy-winning and platinum-selling artists.

‘Lies’ opens with an atmospherically ominous loop, building towards the full vocal before dropping into growling broken beats and razor sharp percussion: a seething maelstrom of dark dance music that completely envelopes the senses.

On the remix, This Ain’t Bristol’s Billy Kenny continues his sensational run of form with a shuffling, bass heavy house cut that pummels its way into your subconscious, check it out below...

Left / Right & JACQ - Lies (Billy Kenny Remix)

Early September will see Emery Warman mark his debut for MadTech Records with the ‘Soulthing’ EP, comprising three original tracks from the up and coming act. 
Born in Hungary and now residing in the UK Emery Warman is rising up the ranks in the world of underground House with early support coming from the likes of Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin and Paco Osuna, it’s safe to say Warman is one to watch. Here we see him slot perfectly into the roster of MadTech Records following material for the likes of ViVa Limited, Deeperfect and Stereo Productions. 
Up first on the package is ‘Simple Mind’, taking the lead with a percussive fuelled groove, sporadic vocal swells, resonant synth whirrs and choppy bass hits before ‘Do Tha Music’ follows, dropping the tempo and laying focus on organic percussive hits, snaking subs and spiralling atmospherics. 
Lastly to round things off title track ‘Soulthing’ lays down a six and a half minute unfaltering groove of vacillating low-end drones, cascading drum lines and a subtly unfolding dynamic. 
Emery Warman’s ‘Soulthing’ EP is out on MadTech Records 2nd September 2016.

Production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot aka Solardo are the next to make their mark on Hot Creations with ‘Tribesmen’, delivering two heavy-duty cuts destined to stir serious heat in the club.

Already doing the rounds worldwide at the hands of some of the biggest names in the business, ‘Tribesmen’ and ‘Psycho Girlfriend’ are built straight for the dancefloor around dense and heavy basslines, punchy percussion and prominent vocal slices.

Hailing from Manchester, Solardo are continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music whilst carving out their own sound in the house and techno scene with releases on Madtech, MTA Records and more recently Of Unsound Mind. The unrelenting force that is Hot Creations often acts as a breeding ground for raw talent. This next release does just that with four ‘Hot Jams’ from upcoming artists Lee Walker, Pete Dorling, Neil Parkes and Greeko.

First up, young producer Lee Walker from Middlesbrough makes his debut on Hot Creations delivering ‘That Little Ditty’, which takes hold with a deeply intoxicating bassline, prominent hi-hats and punchy stabs that build to a frenzied climax. Shooting onto the scene in 2015 with his off-the-cuff edit of DJ Deeon’s ‘Freak Like Me’, which played by the likes of Marco Carola, Dixon and Loco Dice, soon gained over 1 million hits on Youtube and was finally picked up by Defected Records.

Having featured on ‘Hot Summer Jams’ on the label back in 2014, Essex DJ and producer Pete Dorling is back with another killer track. ‘Manyana’ drives with a heavy bassline as tribal vocal cuts are played throughout. Other releases can be seen on the likes of VIVa Music, Resonance Productions and NoFitState.

Also appearing on the same ‘Hot Summer Jams’, Neil Parkes is back on board the label with ‘Peil Narkes.’ A swinging bassline sets the groundwork as layers of moody synths roll out over punchy hats. Since his first release on Metroline Limited, Neil has spread his wings releasing on labels such as MadTech, Leftroom Limited and Underground Audio.

Solid Grooves Records returns with two percussive cuts from Italian producer Franz Costa with label founder Michael Bibi providing a remix.

Having released on Deeperfect, ElRow, Antural Records and Natural Rhythm, Franz Costa’s upwards trajectory is indisputable. The Italian’s productions have been regularly championed by the likes of Marco Carola, whilst his abilities in the DJ booth has seen him become a resident for Ibiza Talents, not to mention numerous appearances at Pacha Ibiza, Egg London, Bora Bora Ibiza, Classic Club Italy and more. He now joins the Solid Grooves Records roster, spanning PAWSA, Wade, Dennis Cruz, Reelow and David Pher, with a pair of club focused tracks this February.
