At its core lies the hauntingly beautiful voice of the Native American flute, layered with the primal rhythms of hand drums, the shimmer of shakers and rattles, and the intricate melodies of classical guitar. “Shadow work is about diving into the parts of ourselves we often avoid, I wanted this EP to be a space where listeners could confront those shadows—through movement, emotion, and reflection—and emerge feeling more whole.”

The hypnotic rhythms and meditative layers mirror the ebb and flow of facing our inner truths, while the uplifting harmonies symbolise the liberation that comes with self-acceptance. The creative process behind the EP mirrored its theme. Experimenting with textures, layering sounds, and balancing contrasts, Jeweled Lotus found inspiration in the dualities of life—light and dark, chaos and order, past and present.
