2020 has been a challenging year for many. This is my first track in quite some time. This was largely inspired by my son, Nolan, who was born in 2020 and brought me much light, happiness and solace in this year.

Track made with some instances of SQ8L free synth for KVR OSC 143 contest. Produced in FL Studio "on live" style.

The idea on this project is for these difficult times, we have to plead and pray to Universe and wait to become reality. After all, we are all creators of reality.

This is a recreation of the 1980s synth powerhouse the Roland Jupiter 8. For years I've salivated over owning one of these vintage beasts. Now at least I can harness the huge sound.

Created in Ableton Live 10. Using Ableton effects (EQ8, Compressor, Saturation, Reverb, Limiter) + TAL Filter, OTT, CamelCrusher, Valhalla Supermassive.

Used hardware synthesizer: Roland Alpha Juno 2 from 1986.
Used DAW: Bitwig Studio 3.2.2.
Used instances: 15 bounced parts.
Used effects: one Alesis QuadraVerb on two of the sounds via send-return configurations, several Bitwig Studio devices such as: delays, EQ+, reverb and dynamic tools for mastering.
