Felipe Gurascier was born in 1997 in Montevideo. He is a young, emerging DJ from the Uruguayan scene who has taken his first steps in electronic music by joining the Soulmate community in Montevideo.  He is also part of the renowned Escuela Sónica de Buenos Aires.

A progressive, deep and melodic music Lover, Felipe is attracted by deep hypnotic grooves and complex atmospheres.

Soulmate Studio & Academy, founded in 2020 by Diego Acosta and Luciano Elvira, is rapidly building a reputation of being one of the best music production and DJ schools in Uruguay.

They offer programs for aspiring artists who are looking to learn what it takes to be a producer and DJ, helping them obtain the fundamental skills that will help them achieve their goals. Not only do they educate, but they also provide a platform where the students get the chance to DJ in front of live crowds at live showcase events in and around Montevideo.

Soulmate continues to grow, welcoming its second generation of students in early 2021.

Alfonso Arés's relationship with electronic music began more of 20 years ago when he began working in the Madrid clubs. His experience with the scene, combined with his innovative attitude, has made him a well- rounded artist.

As a producer, he has been continually refining his sound, which has been recognized for its style that shares roots with the New York-based "Nite Grooves" and other labels such as "Inward", "Suprematic", "Polyptych Ltd", "Street King", "Lapsus Music", "Highway Records", “Animo” and his upcoming release on "Redolent Music". 

His proficiency and extensive knowledge of different musical styles have enabled him to demonstrate his versatility in the studio, and his productions have been remixed by renowned international artists like Kellerkind, Marco Resmann, Darin Epsilon and Marko Nastic.

He has had the opportunity to DJ in cities such as Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, Ibiza, Tulum and Cdmx over the past few years. Nowadays, his Animo shows feature performances from esteemed artists like Who Made Who, Sasha, Stavroz, Frankey & Sandrino or Matthias Tanzmann, to name a few.

David “DAVI” Khanjian grew up listening to classic sounds of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the like.

Discovering his passion for music from an early age, he was subsequently admitted to the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. David's immigration to Los Angeles expanded his horizons in music.

Focusing on production of genre defying electronic music, David’s sound can best be described as deeply melodic journey into the mind that can leave you whiplashed much like a rollercoaster. As the vibrant strings of acoustic guitar resonate over thick bass lines, you can feel a warm glow in your heart, interrupted only by an occasional conga riff. His dj sets leave one standing drenched in sweat, completely exhausted from the satisfaction of losing yourself in the dark beats and the lush melodies.

Living in the moment where the last embers of daylight fade beyond the horizon.  A tapestry of vibrant colours streak across the sky before the impending onset of darkness.  The space between day and night, where the structure and security of the sun gives way to a different energy, one that pulsates with an almost rhythmic, hypnotic calling.  The anticipation for what awaits is, almost palpable.
