A breakbeat, punchy yet flowing rhythm together with deep, flowing bass create a club-like foundation on which the other instruments write their story. Repetitive, nostalgic motif, based on ethnic vocal samples, adds deep emotionality and puts the listener into a dreamy trance. It takes him on a journey somewhere in the vast open spaces of Central Europe, to meet Chochoł (Mulch) - a fantastic character from Stanisław Wyspiański's drama. Does he really exist? Is it him?

Avid followers of Selected. will know just how much we rate the musical talents of Bristol-based producer Nu Aspect. Since debuting on our YouTube channel back in March 2017 with his impressive inaugural offering Things I Said, we’ve been fortunate enough to welcome Sam Higgins back time and time again over the last six years, for a slew of hits including Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head, Run Deep, If You Wanna, Miss You, Sleepless and Something Real, to name a few.

Now, returning to Selected. for his latest masterpiece, the prolific British producer adds to his incredible stream of studio output with the viral TikTok triumph, Sinner. David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based producer specializing in deep progressive house. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar.
