Continuing to showcase exciting new talent, Clubsonica Records welcomes COQUEIT to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, COQUEIT has been a fixture of the progressive house scene across the last four years. The Cordoba resident first rose to prominence with a string of early projects for AH Digital and Droid9 South America, where he established a melodic, progressive style that made him a name to watch. Continuing to perfect his craft going forward, COQUEIT would earn the support of genre tastemakers Antrim, Ezequiel Arias, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Sahar Z, in turn landing him releases via Mango Alley and Univack. With the onset of 2025 highlighted by a well-received debut for Or Two Strangers, COQUEIT continues to break further ground as the year enters its second quarter, adding Clubsonica to his resume with ‘Warning’. 

The peak time sounds of the title selection ’Warning’ steal the air and present a prophetic monochrome within COQUEIT’s repertoire, as charged beats, rebounding rhythms and pyrotechnic effects converge for an electric narrative. Advancing the journey further across the break, it’s a set of siren-like synth flairs which emerge and travel to the very edges, before a finale of heavily manipulated stabs cast a paranoid spell over the dancefloor.

The second selection ‘Fox River’ finds COQUEIT crafting a groovy melodic number that’s nicely suited for those uplifting dancefloor moments. Smooth key changing basslines forecast a powerful yet emotive low end, while glowing pads and effervescent melodies instantly commands your attention. Coming to full friction during the interlude, trance-inducing motifs provide an enduring main theme, eventually culminating in a crescendo of effects-laden euphoria.

Rounding out the release are the multi-dimensional sounds of ‘Sona’. Instantly seductive, its industrial structures and mesmerizing machine progressions drive each other into a whirlpool of spiralling directions, making for a flexible club track that bends between scenes while injecting vibrant energy into the dancefloor.
