Nemrud is Turkish rock band who achieving worldwide success with their psychedelic and progressive rock music. Their work is marking by the use of Shamanic lyrics, epic story, innovative album art, and spiritual ambiance live shows. Nemrud is of the most noteworthy debut of rock music in Turkey.Despite their nationality, the band is not generally considered Pop-rock because of their sound, which has much more in common with Progressive Rock groups such as Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Eloy, Camel and Yes..etc Founded in 2008 by guitarist and vocalist Mert Göçay. Journey of The Shaman has only 3 songs. Mert Göçay was wrote the lyrics and complex compositions of 3 episodes to base the album. These 3 songs in the album telling the story of the pysical and spiritual journey of "Mitos" , a Shaman living in the steps of Central Asia, upon the message he received from the other world. These three songs represent the three kingdom in Shamanism belief.
