

Alvin Dee is a well-known and established DJ in the UK music industry with a wealth of knowledge and skill gained since the start of his DJ career in the early 90’s .
He had a great passion for music from a young age and began his career as a jungle DJ and shortly after he joined the radio station  DON FM (105.7) .  His passion grew and his colleagues noticed this which led to the owner giving him his first club booking, from then he was hooked. Around this time, the jungle scene was massive as you probably know and he was given opportunities to play at venues such as: THE MARQUEE CLUB, PARADISE CLUB, TEEN RAGE, LAZERDOME, ROCKET, MINISTRY OF SOUND and CLUB UK among others. This was alongside DJ’S such as: NICKY BLACKMARKET, KENNY KEN, DJ HYPE, DJ RAP, RAY KIETH, ANDY C, BRIAN G.
After a good few years on this scene Alvin’s love for jungle music started to fade although the passion to DJ was still there. The music wasn’t doing it for him, at the same time Don Fm’s temporary license had expired and the radio station shut down for a period. In the meantime, he had his daughter Harley and decided to concentrate on the family side of things.
He still followed the music scene and in 2007 found the music that was to ignite his passion again.. House Music!
He fell in love with the sound and its styles of Deep Tech Minimal and Underground. Since then, he has had great opportunities over the past few years to play at venues in and around London such as:
MINISTRY OF SOUND , O2 ARENA , PLAN B, SCALA, CLUB LIBERTAIRE,
KINETICS, CLUB LIFE, SOUND, CLUB W, WINKERS COUNTRY CLUB, LAVA & IGNITE, HIDDEN, CABLE CLUB, EGG, COLLOSEUM, FIRE & LIGHTBOX and XOYO.
He has played at these venues alongside DJ’S such as: JOEY NEGRO, BRANDON BLOCK, AARON ROSS, BOOKER T, RATPACK, MATT JAM LAMONT, PIED PIPER, SCOTT GARCIA, ROBBIE CRAIG, RAY HURLEY, SY SEZ, GAVIN PETERS, MARK RADFORD, ADAM COTIER, LEE BRINX and VICTOR SIMENELI
Along his journey of being a House DJ in 2012 Alvin joined one of the UK’s most well-known House Music brands:  KINGS OF HOUSE. During his time with the K.O.H. team he has played for crowds of up to 3000 guests up and down the UK. He’s had several opportunities to play alongside some of the house industries top DJ’s and producers from the UK and Worldwide such as: DIRTY CHANNELS, PIRUPA, NICE SE7EN, COZZY D, HOT SINCE 82, MAX CHAPMAN, VIADRINA and DE MARZO. In September 2013 he was given the opportunity to play out in Ibiza at the launch of their annual week long Kings of House Ibiza getaway experience alongside the top DJ’s in the UK house scene. The Kings of House brand has major plans for 2014 and Alvin is excited to be a part of them. He has great aspirations of his own for the future and hopes he will still be recognised in the music scene for years to come

I have always had a love for house and garage music. I used to love productions from Underground Solutions, R.I.P Promotions and many more. As I grew older continued listening to house and eventually decided I wanted to DJ/Producer and share my love of Electronic music with others.

I have had releases on labels such as Three Lives Down, Cap City Beat, Shibiza Recordings and many more. I have now started my own label Polite Notice and hope to share many more tracks with others.
