Stephen Stack Up James was raised in Mo City, Tx. SUJ credits his influences to the likes of Kanye, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Common, Lauryn Hill, Talib Kweli, a Tribe Called Quest etc. His soulful delivery and flow patterns have been compared to that of Tyler the Creator, Mick Jenkins and Method Man. The combination makes for a sound unique to what we normally hear created in the south.
