His swing rhythm and flow in his songs are incredible good, and the passion he delivers in his music is very inspiring. He has for me been a legend ever since he appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I hope you like the remix I did of his song Wild Wild West. Cheers!

Marc Poppcke - Favourites Of The Month January 2015

As of late I've been observing recurring themes of devotion in my life and in those of people around me. Devotion to the artform, devotion to our friends, family, and lovers, devotion to what we want to achieve. Devotionals, in the religious sense, are a way for humans to get closer to God. While personally I'm not one to preach any religious dogma, I do believe there is a spiritual message is house music that we can all understand, and I tried to communicate that in this mix. Das Schlimmste ist, dass wir einfach nichts ändern können. Das Einzige, was wir tun können, ist so laut die Musik aufzudrehen, damit du es im Himmel hören kannst. Auf dich anzustoßen und daran zu denken, wie wundervoll es ist, dass du geboren wurdest und wir dich kennen- und liebenlernen durften.

With inspiration taken from the likes of Bonobo, Bjork and Purity Ring, music comes to Fla in sudden surges of creativity that often manifests itself in ethereal remixes for artists like Fickle Friends and Sun Glitters. The latest instalment of our mix series comes from German DJ and Producer Sandrino. The chances are you have heard the name when used in combination with his partner in crime, as Frankey & Sandrino, but Sandrino is also a force as an individual artist, which comes through here. Both, Frankey and Sandrino, have been active with electronic music for well over a decade now. While Franky is a schooled musician who had already released a string of LP's and EP's, Sandrino started his career in 2003 with a residency at Germany's Butan Club. The duo of Frankey and Sandrino soon discovered their shared interest in deep and melodic music and started producing together. It didn't take too long until Four:Twenty Records and Moodmusic picked up their first releases.
