Ben Westbeech (aka Breach) was responsible for two top ten hits in 2013, the iconic bassline track ‘Jack’ followed by ‘Everything You Never Had (We Had It All)’. This track with Dennis is a departure from the jacked-up style of those records, with more of a laidback, steadily building, main-room vibe. A catchy, silky-smooth vocal compliments Dennis’s customarily watertight production, making for an expansive, symphonic track that is sure to get hands raised on the dancefloor. For Dennis Ferrer fans this makes for an extraordinary return to Defected, and an indication of plenty more sensational new music coming right up.

Hailing from Germany, Lovebirds has rapidly become a name synonymous with the finest neo-disco house, through a distinct style that leans heavily towards the sound of the 80’s with a modern funk twist. His next single ‘This Time’, alongside vocalist Novika is no exception and includes wicked remixes from Gorge and Tiger Stripes.

Lovebirds heads down the melancholic musical avenue with ‘This Time’, combining luscious synth lines with crisp beats, disco infused stabs and of course, the beautiful voice of Novika. On the remix, Gorge provides a nod towards the sound of the 90’s, stripping it back for a bass driven beauty. For those that prefer their beats, there is also a Dub Mix from Gorge. Completing the package, Sweden’s Tiger Stripes shakes the original up with the melodies taking centre stage.
