C-L-Audio was a rave-DJ in south west of France during the late 90s, then resident DJ at Rachdingue in Rosas from 1997 to 2002. Later on he had several DJ residencies in Toulouse and guested in clubs or festivals in Belgium or Switzerland. Nowadays, C-L-Audio continues to evolve as an artist, pushing boundaries of electronic music and delivering strong DJ-performances and new musical production (checkout his latest remix for Kelton Prima).

Soul Traumer is a prolific and inspired musician who has been producing for several years and signed releases on various labels such as Poolside, Audio Dualism, Glitch Records Metrosolis, Spin66, Beatscope (…) while making numerous remixes for artists of international fame like Mangotronique, Bonnie Drasko, S-Even, Pawel Kobak. He is also part of studio projects like 2Balzac (with Manuel Perez) or The Cosmic (with Ludho Laverde).

'Exceptions' is the thirty-fifth release of Aftertech Records. We have kept an eye out on Yeröm for a while now. An exceptional talented producer of powerful and melodic techno and after having released on our Aftertunes. It is now time to let him shine on our label with an EP of his own. Together with remixes by Cliff de Zoete and Di Rugerio this is a beautiful melodic release!
The title track 'Exceptions' starts out with a powerful beat and has that real signature sound that is Yeröm. Quickly a full bassline is introduced together with metal-like percussions and whispering noises. Once the brass hoots its melody and the violins start screaming the magic of 'Exceptions' is complete. This is a track full with tension, harmony and power. Such wonderful work by Yeröm once again!
'Control' is something totally different than the title track. It has a real housy feel to it. Smartly placed percussions and a boomy bassline set the tone. A never-ending vocal slips in, giving it a mesmerizing touch. And once the piano starts playing, working wonderfully together with the rhythm of the bassline, 'Control' is born! The classical touch together with the grabbing vocal make this track a real beauty and will do some damage in the club for sure!
Cliff de Zoete finally returns to Aftertech Records and once again he shows us where he is made of. Mesmerizing bells take you on a journey right from the start. They slowly bring you to an upcoming melody that quickly is accompanied by a smooth bassline. While shakers and drums float around in the air the track keeps on gaining in power until the break arrives. The chord play of the bassline and the heavenly melodic elements make you drift away in Cliff's musical dream. A real masterpiece!
Di Rugerio turned the housy feel of 'Control' into something progressive. The main element is quickly uncovered in which a repeating melody plays the lead. A real classical build-up with layer on layer works great while the lead is accompanied by pads that seem to drift away like waves, taking you further into the track. When the break arrives and a sweet melody is added it all seems to come together. A beautiful serene track which is the perfect addition to this great EP!
