Solorun is a one-man-band project created by Raphael Simagio (pseudonym) in 2012. Born and raised in Russia, he now lives in China. While the tracks of Solorun might sound different from one another they are all bound by strong melodies. Raphael says, ” Every time I create a new track, two inner forces fight each other: the first one wants hardcore and djent and the second one wants post – rock. I prefer not to stand on either side but rather mix them using various proportions. My music is always progressive and atmospheric.” (с)
