E&G (Espen Gerhardsen & Geir Albertsen) were both born and raised in the city of Tromsø in Norway. A small town to most but known on an international scale. Just above the polar circle, at a latitude of nearly 70 degrees north with total darkness in the winter time to 24/7 daylight in the summertime, It’s seems impossible to not be inspired.

From the beginning, music was an important part of their lives and the Trance genre of house music, was from the start, the most natural choice of music for both of them.

Geir started with a collection of Trance cd´s late in the 90`s and went to local clubs to experience big names like Tiesto, Johan Gielen, Sister Bliss, DJ Lars Holte and more. All these influences have taken Geir to where he stands today - Loaded with music experience and ready to take his place in the music industry.

Espen spent several years searching the realms of House, until he finally stumbled into the trance genre and found is Heaven on Earth. Since then, Trance music has been a major part of his life and people like Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk inspired him most. The next natural step was DJing.

The strange thing was they never met until 2007 but quickly found out about their common interest - Trance music. During the next few years, they travelled Europe attending major Trance events. They realised that they should form a DJ duo and hit the decks themselves.

... in June 2010 they decided the next step would be producing. Their first track set for release was in collaboration with Aerofoil - "Plank Effect". With massive support from Markus Schulz and many other big names in the EDM industry - The track got fantastic response from the listeners around the globe, the official release was Oct 17 2011. Since then has releases like "Oslo Anthem", "One Word", "Alcohol Abuse", “Pleasure” received wide support from Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and many more. They are releasing tracks on labels like Armada Music, Coldharbour Recordings, Black Hole Records, Lange Recordings and Graygoo Records.

They are always aiming to improve their own unique sound with energetic, powerful, pumping tech tracks to uplifting melodic trance tunes. As performers they always aim to deliver story telling DJ sets with their own edits and with the occasional mix in with other genres like Techno. They truly believe in giving the audience an amazing experience that leaves them with something to talk about!

Nowadays, DJ Tiiny’s name is widely associated with Stormzy, especially having been his right hand man for the majority of the past decade. As Stormzy has risen and continues to do so, DJ Tiiny has been there right beside him and it’s a testament to his talent on the decks and his ability to bring the crowd to life.
Like many DJs, Tiiny began his journey at the age of fourteen and he was influenced by his older cousin and family friends. He showed a keen bright enthusiasm from early and it wasn’t long before he was playing sets at house parties. When his cousin went to university, that led to Tiiny being handed down DJ equipment and eventually he’d take on solo bookings across south London.
He opted out of university while many of his peers and those who introduced him to DJing attended, but he was in and around those environments ensuring that students were having some of the best nights. His jaunts would take him as far as Leeds and Leicester, performing at universities across the UK. At the time, it was a surefire way of getting his name on the circuit.
Not before long, Stormzy was gradually building his own name within the grime circuit and while DJ Tiiny was also figuring out what kind of selector he wanted to be, both their paths soon crossed. DJ Tiiny’s name had been on the MC’s radar for some time and eventually, Stormzy asked if he was able to DJ for him at a show of his in 2012. “I thought he was sick and he thought the same of me. I knew he did music but I didn’t know how DJing for an artist would work, I thought I had to become a household name for something like that but it wasn’t like that.That’s when I knew things were going right for me, it took things to the next level,” he says .Ever since, the pair have been side by side on stage but it’s been Tiiny who has had the best view of Stormzy ever since his ascent.
As credit to his achievements and his bright future, he won Best DJ at the UEA (UK Entertainment Awards) in 2016. In 2018, DJ Tiiny joined renowned radio station Capital Xtra to present the Friday night show. Besides his own star growing due to being Stormzy’s tour DJ who had released his debut album Gang Signs & Prayer a year prior, Tiiny’s expertise as a premier selector is what has led him to this point.There’s still much more on the horizon for DJ Tiiny and he knows it's all within reach. “I’ve built a career from doing the uni circuit and networking with DJs and radio producers all over. This is a great achievement because it’s gotten me in the spaces I’ve always wanted to be in.
Last year, at 23, he joined Stormzy on stage at Glastonbury to help deliver one of the most illustrious performances in the history of the festival but long before then, Tiiny always had plans to become a household name, doing big sets and parties but the aim at the centre of it all is to be the bright spark in people’s nights and making them feel happy.
It all began on a pair of decks at 14 but Tiiny set his sights high and in the next few years, that dream of becoming a household DJ name will be reality. “It gives me this feeling you can make something out of nothing because your role is to make everyone happy. I get joy from that,” he says. “Knowing that I can do that and receive back the love is what made this all possible.”

Ex Astris – sonic journeys through the aether
Lene Vinje is a Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist, mastering synthesizer, guitar, bass, tongue drum and vocals. With a background from acclaimed indie bands such as Sofi Lofi and Izakaya Heartbeat.
Her musical path began in early childhood at a music kindergarten, and a teenage fascination with electronic dance music – sparked by her first dance music program at age 14 – laid the foundation for her lifelong exploration of sound and texture.
After years of performing on guitar and bass, Lene met HMB (composer, vocals, djembe and spiritual inspiration). Together they created the art and music project Protostar7, a collaboration born from a shared vision: to remember that we are all part of the greater whole – the aether. As above, so below; as within, so without. Their goal was to echo sounds from the universe of feelings within.
Protostar7 has now evolved into Ex Astris, an electronic and ambient project that explores the cosmic connection between sound, spirit, and the infinite. Their forthcoming ambient album will be released on Distant Gaze Records, offering listeners an ethereal blend of rhythm and resonance.
