Electronic artist and synth virtuoso Analog Sol presents his upcoming new single De La Selva. A hypnotic, and summery Afro house composition that has been a highlight in his live performances. De La Selva embraces chic bass lines, tribal-inspired melodies, and a synth pattern that glides and fades like the rising heat off a sea breeze.

It took two years for the Barcelona-based producer to fully unveil the studio version of this track. It was first heard on his Axtone-premiered live performance in 2020. The acclaimed debut of his live set was highlighted for its harmonious and rhythmic House and Techno explorations. One tune, in particular, set the mood for the zestful vibes of the set, that tune was a live excerpt of De La Selva.

The track patiently develops into an indulging dance piece with deep-house influences. It fluently converges melodic synths and a classy 4-on-the- floor beat. The atmospheric style of Analog Sol embraces a soothing tropical sound palette and the intricate aesthetic of analog synthesizers. It conceives an authentic style that brings together artificial soundscapes with organic percussions.

De La Selva materializes the dreamy images of quiet waves on the seashore and calm glimpses of wind going through paradisiac palm trees. With this piece, Analog Sol creates the perfect soundtrack for an open-sky dancefloor. Full of ethereal elements and the sophisticated persuasiveness that defines his music.

The two brothers had spent the day exploring the beach in Zeeland, enjoying the quiet rhythm of the sea and the cool breeze that swept across the sand. The older brother wandered further ahead, collecting seashells and staring out over the horizon, while the younger one lingered by the water’s edge. It was then that something caught his eye—off to the side, a stone was balancing delicately atop another, perfectly still. He had never seen anything like it before, and it seemed almost magical, like the rocks had found a way to defy gravity.

He called out, “Look at this!” and the older brother came over, his curiosity piqued.

"How’s it staying like that?" the older brother asked, crouching down to inspect it.

The younger one, excited, picked up a rock and tried to mimic the balance. His first attempt failed—the rock tumbled off as soon as he set it down. He tried again, this time with a bigger stone, but it fell even faster.

“It’s harder than it looks,” he muttered, a bit frustrated but undeterred.

The older brother, after watching him for a while, crouched down beside him and said, “It’s all about patience and the right balance. You have to feel it.”

The younger one nodded and tried once more, this time listening to the calm rhythm of the waves, focusing on the weight of each stone, and carefully adjusting the tilt. Gradually, the rocks began to stay in place, one on top of the other, slowly taking shape.

With each new stone, the structure grew, until finally, they had created a circle of balanced rocks—a simple, delicate ring, standing strong against the wind and the sea.

“That looks good,” the older brother said, standing back and admiring the work.

The younger brother smiled, feeling a quiet sense of pride. “Yeah, we did it.”

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows on the sand, the two brothers stood for a moment in silence, their circle of stones marking a quiet victory. The world was vast, the ocean endless, but in that small, balanced ring, they found a perfect moment of peace.

Sol Selectas presents the 1st solo EP from frequent collaborator Memo Rex, a producer who resides in San Diego California. The Vulcan EP is 4 original tracks, with 1 song being a collaboration with PALOMA. In the artists own words, “Each track is a sonic journey, committed to elevating the human spirit through the power of music”

“Vulcan” kicks off the adventure with pulsating rhythms, Worldly melodies,  and tribal percussion. 

“Muladhara” is a collaboration between fellow San Diego artist PALOMA. This Afro House excursion is rooted in the deepest depths of the jungle, with the sound of birds chirping, tribal chants, and strong percussion, over expansive bass sounds. 

"Vesta," the third offering on the EP, radiates with cosmic energy and celestial beauty. With its expansive percussive frequencies and transcendent melodies, the track inspires listeners to embark on a journey of spiritual enlightenment, and self empowerment.
Closing out the EP is "Resonance," a spellbinding piece that resonates with the divine essence of the universe. Through its hypnotic rhythms and euphoric crescendos, the track transports listeners to a spiritual state of ecstasy and connection. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us to the deepest transcendental volcanic landscape upon which the mind travels.

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas, once again sets off on its annual summer voyage, and presents the 9th edition of its critically acclaimed 'Summer Sol' compilation.

This year's edition features 25 tracks that orientate mainly around organic house, but it also incorporates other genres including downtempo, Afro house and melodic house/techno.

Each of the tracks on this release have a joyous sound that embodies the hot weather of these warm summer months, and the compilation is released on the day of the Summer Solstice to celebrate the year's longest day of sunlight.

Collecting tracks from around the world, Summer Sol's concept celebrates diversity, as regardless of race, religion or gender, we are all equal under the light of the sun. This year's compilation has music with origins from over 17 different countries, and it embraces different cultures through local instruments, different languages, and traditional melodies.

Sol Selectas is a pioneering record label that is known for mixing the cultural influences of different nations folk law with contemporary electronic music. Summer Sol IX features music from imprint regulars such as Sabo, Derun, Guy Maayan, and Desert Dwellers, but there is also music from several emerging talents who are working with the label for the first time.

Collectively, the artists who feature on this release have also contributed to other influential record labels such as A Tribe Called Kotori, 3000 Grad Records, Cosmic Awakenings, Baikal Nomads, Pipe & Pochet, Akbal Music, Mobilee and Global Underground.
