Jmn Jams 007 - Strawberry Berry Berry

So happy to share this psy-inspired desert techno set with you all as it served as the backdrop for so many beautiful memories in the last couple weeks. 

Port of Entry came back stronger than ever as we celebrated the birthday of a dear friend in the port of Oakland. This time we had 3 DJs and even a Lyra rig for all to enjoy. It was magical.

A few days later, I played at a desert mini-festival "Moon Shake" where I performed a modified version of this set but unfortunately that one wasn't recorded. This was an amazing week and have high hopes it is just the beginning of a gorgeous summer packed full of great music, dancing with friends and memory making experiences.

This was a 3:30-5 am set for the Love Gatherings' Infinity weekend fest. It was an absolute blast. So many amazing humans and wonderful vibes all around. AND, I'm so stoked to finally get to play a night time set! So obviously I went a little darker than I normally get to, which I love!

Had a blast playing for a friends Flirty 30 bday party. For funsies I played a few techno / tech house tracks at the beginning and morphed into Nu Disco for the rest per request from the bday person. Turned out to be a really fun set.

Been having a blast playing at this recurring underground party the last few months, the dance floor is always so hyped. This time I finally recorded my set.

Had such an amazing time throwing a forest renegade over memorial day weekend with some good friends. We had a great turn out and the music was 🔥. Each set brought its own vibes and the dance floor was never empty. 

I have been sitting on a lot of techno tracks waiting for the right moment and was thrilled to finally get to play them and actually remembered to hit record. Enjoy.

Ten years ago my life was changed when I attended my first FMG. Since then, Moontribe has been by large my greatest inspiration musically and it was a dream come true to get to contribute back to my favorite dance floor. The experience was everything I had hoped for and so much more.

Put together a super fun (and sometimes goofy) NuDisco/House set for a dear friend and think it turned out a good time. It is definitely one of the "pop"-ier sets I've done but folks seemed to love it on the dance floor and it was a blast playing for them. Enjoy!

What an incredible weekend full of wonderful humans bringing the best music! I am absolutely honored to have been a part of it. 

I'm so grateful for the dance floor that was popping at 5:30am for this sunrise techno set. I had the privilege of being a bridge between two of my favorite DJs @psilovybe and @chadwickmoontribe. So this set starts from deep psy-tech and ramps up to more psytrance inspired techno. I'm so stoked with how turned out. Enjoy the journey!

The recording of the Stargate Malfunction day time party at Ali Bar-Bar at Burning Man 2019 Metamorphoses. 

This starts with a little Techno and goes through a wonky ride into NuDisco. I really tried to stay on-theme and make things sound like they were "malfunctioning" so things get sideways at times hehe.

Stargate Malfunction (Live Set)

My set from Burning Man 2019 Metamorphosis at Camp XX (formerly known as Goa Culture) at 9:45 and Esplanade. Had sooo much fun playing this one! And most of my campmates came and danced super hard making the whole experience nothing short of magical. 

Starts off as "PlayaTech"-ish and makes it way into more tribally desert techno. <3

MetaTribal - CampXX (Live Set)

There are a few renegades in SoCal that I frequent on the regular and the friends I have made and experiences I've had there mean the world to me. Now I am looking to create something similar for people in the bay. 

I am calling it "Port of Entry". But instead of a notoriously difficult and unwelcoming event, you come to this "border" with whatever personal boundaries you may have going on at that time and effortlessly cross into an safe and welcoming environment where you can be whoever you want to be.

And of course, for now, we are doing these super small scale and with masks. This allows us to remain safe by distancing and staying in our respective friend pods. The party must go on, so we adapt :D 

This is the set of the first installment and I can't wait to see what this will grow into. Enjoy and see you soon <3

Music, music, music, woodworking, music. 

Starting as a self taught bassist and later graduating from Berklee College of Music with a focus in music synthesis and production, Aric Sebastian (Solstice) pulls from his long and diverse career as a musician in all of his work. With early roots in soul, funk and disco, getting the audience to dance has always been priority number one. These days, Solstice is exploring the next logical step in the musical journey, the realm of DJing. Though you'll mostly find music based around techno and house and all of its cousins, you'll also find a little nu disco, electro swing and even trip hop sprinkled here and there as well.
