It's 2000's-style alt rock, with hard-hitting choruses from stacked electric guitars, fuzzy bass, and pensive vocals. Think: The OC, Phantom Planet, Pete Yorn, Slow Pulp. I started with the drums; the catchy melody and plucky guitars fell in naturally. Harmonies and a swelling, ambient guitar solo round it out.
