It is time yet again to bring you another chapter of our Coastal Selections series.

Since our last collection the world has significantly changed! However, one positive of this global lockdown is that some artists have been able to spend a lot more time in their studios.... We have received such a lot of excellent demos over the past few months that we decided to release a bumper collection this time around. So here it is! 16 tracks from a jaw-dropping array of artists; comprising as always both established veterans and new faces to the Emergent family

After a brief hiatus, Chinese producer myni8hte returns to our imprint and to the realm of progressive with a colorful EP in Pastel Iridescence.

“Pastel Dream,” is that radiant bloom just above the horizon where the sun reflects a pastel palette in the morning sky. Soft sensual grooves, melodic arps, and piano plucks paint dreamy images along the atmospheric canvas. This EP also includes an Alternative Mix to “Pastel Dream,” which has more of a driving force behind its evocative, pastel-enriched morning glow. “Beyond Iridescence” is a punchy groove with reverberating basslines, piano stabs, and plenty of melodic motifs.

Nothing compares to another Balearic Beach rendezvous as we catapult towards the high temperatures of summer. These summer tunes will warm hearts regardless of season. Summer never sounded so good...all year long.

Introducing Marnix Meinster to the sun-drenched atmosphere of balearic progressive. And what a fabulous start for this debuting artist! A Chicane influenced “Afternoon Sun” sets the frolicsome tone of this blissful compilation. From our sister label Droid9 debuts Albert Klein with “Balmy Nights,” a frisky, balearic nightclub groover. Next, DTALM and Sixthsense concoct a melodic potion in the form of an audible exotic “Love Melody.” What’s not to fall in love with the beautiful enchantment of the Balearic islands? L_DG is back with an absolutely stunning balearic groove bomb! “It’s Complicated” not to be enticed by this incredibly gravitating stimulant with a turkish delight along the coastlines of Greece 2020. Yasin Guven debuts with a delightful ray of sunlight “In My Dreams.” Everyone dreams of summertime balearic bliss. Such beautiful chords and arrangement in this progressive groove! Where there is summer, there is Skyline Project. This Polish producer has the balearic touch. “Moon Underwater” is emblematic of the balearic lifestyle, which is embedded with melody, serenity, and sun-soaked glamor, above and beneath the water’s surface. Balearic grooves seem to be synonymous with Numedian’s productions. This time we feature “La Sirena,” a deep balearic elixir full of melodic ingredients such as guitar plucks, piano notes, and hypnotic arps. Skyhunter also debuts with a vibrant cruising melody signifying the “Road’s End.” At the tail end of this journey is the listener’s destination: Balearic Beach! Guitar plucks and arpeggiated chords burgeon beneath warm balearic skies. We end this edition of Balearic Beach on a high note with MarioMoS’s riveting “Rising Sun,” an uplifting balearic banger that crescendos with retro flare and summer’s blessing.

We welcome back Dim Val Pol with another wonderful and energetic track to the label, sharing his own Inner Space of musicality with all. We also have veteran Jeef B and new yet uprising artist Yusuke Teranishi on remixes.

Starting with the upbeat and lively original, the signature sounds from Dim Val Pol is so remarkable, providing another melodic and atmospheric track. This also has new elements, a more trance-like lead and arps, surrounding with a hint of 90s-trance, filled with summer vibes for sure. It follows with a darker touch from Jeef B, continues with his own widen soundscape and becomes whole with the melodics. Another exceptional remix from the veteran himself. The release ends elegantly with a warm welcome of uprising Japanese producer Yusuke Teranishi. The Japanese melodic touch provides melancholy and dreamy vibes, solid bassline with finely placed piano sounds and glistering arps, making the Inner Space to be a miracle dream.

Not a while ago, MLDJ already has provided us with the wonderful First Flight EP, now he returns to Summer Melody with another dreamy EP, with the light guides us toward the voices in our dreams.

Starting with the early morning drive, the Road Of Light shines in and warms through your heart, the lively beat and uplifting vibes pairs with melodic chords and atmospheric pads, continues the relaxing sensation from his previous travel-based EP. The Voice In A Dream seeps in and provides a different vibe. Keeping the uplifting beat, but introduces with more soft vocal chops and choir pads, structures with warming piano arp. The EP also provides with the Version 1 of the track, more dispersed and widen pads layers with the original elements on the track, and adds an additional piano melody into a lush breakdown in the middle of Version 1.
