Breaking onto the scene back in 2005, Yves Eaux continues the long tradition of Dutch multi-genre artists with music signed to multiple high profile labels across a dizzying spectrum, from Armada Subjekt, Unity Records to Black Hole Recordings. A jetset DJ with a charismatic sound, he has shared top billing with everyone from Sasha to Kevin Saunderson, Joris Voorn, Stefano Noferini and Pleasurekraft.

In original form, 'Heritage' bristles from the off. Snappy hats and a rumbling low end lead the way toward spiky synths and powerful dark energy. Building up to the main break, spoken words add a new layer while the beat is filtered out for a punchy finalé. On remix duties, Swedish techno mainstay Samuel L Session brings his considerable studio talent to bare, completely redesigning the bass and melodics for a warm, mid-set bruiser.

The darkest of the blues, “The Trinity” is an epic maelstrom of deep shades. Percussion judders over glowering bass, and melodic shots of neon dance in and out like dialogue. The build and drop are huge and wild think speeding across a prairie in a thunderstorm and the track closes out with a sawtooth buzz seared right through with lightning flashes.
