The 2014 OC Music Awards Showcase Series presents 8 weeks of free concerts every Tuesday night at venues across OC. Hundreds of artists submitted to participate in the series and 35 local artists were chosen to compete for the title of Best Live Band. Each band’s performance is scored on musicianship, originality, song composition, stage presence and show attendance. Five finalists in the Best Live Band category will move on to the Showcase Series Finals at The Observatory in Santa Ana on Tuesday, February 25.
The winner will be announced on March 8 at the main Awards show at the City National Grove of Anaheim and take home a massive prize pack from the Awards partners.

Solution was formed in january of 2012 and has had an incredible first year. Their explosion onto the OC rock reggae scene has been hard to look past, being nominated for the 2013 OC music Awards Best Live Band, and having shared the stage with artists such as Pato Banton, Passafire, Fortunate Youth, JBoog, and many others within a very short period of time. The highlight of their first year was the release of their debut album "Take Me High" which sold out the floor at House of Blues, Anaheim. The creation and release of the "Sacrifice" EP was inspired by all the people who have helped solution at the starting line and everyone who has listened to a song or came to a show.
