Catalin aka @vern-ro was born in Romania. His passion for music started years ago when he was first introduced to electronic music festivals in Constanta, at first familiar with techno through deep grooves and minimalistic sounds. 

His background made him capable to be inspired from a variety of music styles. The appreciation of different grooves managed to develop his abilities as a producer. 

Vern’s sounds are considered unique in their essence due to his profound dedication to discover new music patterns.

Sorin Simon has always been attracted to music. It all started in his childhood home of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he took piano lessons while still in school. His passion for music only grew as the years went by and as he started to go to different festivals, Sorin decided it was time for him to become a DJ. 

So, in 2006, he got himself some musical equipment and started learning the tricks all by himself, taking inspiration from a:rpia:r crew at that time. 
That same year, he started playing music at some private parties for friends and small crowds. Slowly, he was learning the craft and by the time he moved to Jersey, in the Channel Islands in the UK, he was ready for the big stuff. Soon enough, he was a resident at one of the top clubs in the city. 

Time went by and in 2017 Sorin moved definitively to London where he started playing different underground events all around London. A year later, he signed to Vivus Records, an underground/independent and vinyl-only label from South Germany. Sorin has played at multiple festivals both in Romania and abroad such as Monegros Desert Festival, Sonar Off in Spain, Back To The Wild, and Electric Castle in Romania. 

As a producer, Sorin Simon’s dark and trippy soundscapes are reminiscent of the Romanian underground scene and his first track, O dimineață târzie, remains an unreleased jam, that has nonetheless over 150k views on YouTube. Since then, he released two EPs – Ecouri Paralele at Other Thoughts Records and the track Fragmente on the VA03 released by Vivus Records. 

Sharing the decks with some well-known Dj’s like Janeret, Crihan, Cap, Mihigh, RQZ, Cosmjn, Illan Nicciani, Triptil, Bryz, Bexu, Little Hado, Prajescu, Maher Daniel just to name few of them. 

Sorin aims to give the public the same lovely feeling he has when he encounters quality music and his mesmerizing and deep-dark minimal microhouse does just that. His goal was never to be a people pleaser, but to please the right people.

Born at the Sunrise HUB, baptised at Caleidoscop Festival, still growing. Meet Capra Vecinului: an experimental live analogue free flowing project started and built beat by beat by Paul Agripa, Emi and Kozo. 

Paul Agripa is a vinyl distributor, DJ and  live performer, most often associated with the band Sahau. His favourite instrument is the keyboard. 
Respected label owner Emi is in charge of Contur record label and he’s one of those DJs with an unique underground sound besides being a super versatile producer.
Serban Goanță aka Kozo is a Bucharest DJ and producer, owner of the Zimbru label. He co-runs https://Intuit.fm with Paul Agripa and Dan Andrei, while also being a member of Sahau.

The three are curious producers who explore the thin boundaries between jazz, electronic music and technology. The group uses an ever-changing setup of synths, drum machines and modular synthesisers, while also adding in a surprise guest or two whenever needed. 

We seized the opportunity of publishing a cut from their live performance at Caleidoscop, an obscure music festival that takes places somewhere hidden behind the hills of Vâlcea County, Romania.

BIO: ​It is pretty obvious why Primărie plays music, his purpose is to raise the frequencies all around and to bring in good vibes. Given his abilities to translate various influences, he is making people dance, meditate and heal themselfs through the power of the groove and high frequency vibrations. It's hard to describe in words the positive vibe flooding the crowd at any of Primărie's gigs.
Playing marathons at infamous after-parties, presenting his groovy sound in small packed clubs, inducing smiles on underground dance floors. Constantly searching for the perfect rhythm, Primărie managed to capture the hype around the Romanian electronic wave into his own label: Tzinah Records. No artistic bullshit, no experiments, just tunes covering a huge territory between techno and minimal house, designed for the most pretentious dance floors!
Being a good A&R, Primărie gathered many unreleased tunes mesmerizing his sets. With various electronic influences it is pretty hard to tag Primărie's house & techno style, though his sound is powerful enough to make a statement on its own.
