This is a cover of Lou Reed's classic song "Wild Child" from his debut 1972 solo release 'Lou Reed". Its a live on air radio performance for  91.9fm KPTZ community radio, Port Townsend. Recorded on the "Beach Rubble" show by Ruby Fitch.

With the help of Pete Lack, Emily and I recorded this Kinks cover for the Wes Anderson Tribute, I Saved Latin, on American Laundromat Records. We gave the stems to our friend Royal Graves (head honcho at Whatbang Records) and he turned it into this! Enjoy!

Since I haven't been able to get to any of the protests, I thought this would be a good way to express my feelings on our nations biggest mistake and totally fucking failure. We honestly just want people to know EXACTLY WHERE WE STAND ON THIS. I hope we can inspire folks to pick up guitars or fucking tubas or write poems or take to the streets or open up a conversation. Please put yourself out there on this one. Don't hold your thoughts, feelings, or concerns inside you.

TO CLARIFY: I would think its pretty obvious, but this song is not about CONDONING VIOLENCE in anyway, shape or form.
