Birds of Paradise is California-born producers Torin Goodnight (Bird of Prey) and Tyler Gibson (Gibson).  Since their debut in 2011, they have traveled the world, playing main stage at many of the biggest and best electronic music festivals.  Having a similar aesthetic but still maintaining an individual approach, they combine forces in a symbiotic project to work towards a common vision and master the art of collaboration.  The duo plays to its strengths- patience, beauty, and depth to offer a truly original sound of rolling percussive breakbeats, progressive melodies, incredible sound design and twisted psychedelic layers.  Their fusion of elements, both natural and synthetic, create an engaging bio-digital landscape that leaves little to the imagination. Originating from Greensboro NC, Adam Bombthreats, (formerly 1Adam12), is the stage moniker of long time DJ and all around music fanatic Adam Wiglesworth.  Asheville NC native since early spring 2015.  Adam has long been a diligent participant behind the scenes to bring quality underground music and acts across the southeast for well over a decade now.  His passion for contributing towards each event’s overall success and enjoyment to those attending, combined with his decade and a half spent meticulously honing his particular and unique signature sound and skills has led him to playing stages all over the eastern US as well as across the world, even having taken a yearlong residency in Taipei, Taiwan.  Over the years Adam has shared stages alongside acts such as Glitch Mob, Dieselboy, DJ Dara, AK1200, DJ Icey, Baby Ann, Jen Lasher, Feed Me, DJ Funk, Donald Glaude,  Astral Projection, and many others.  Never one to stay in one place too long, musically Adam’s sets have a tendency for running the gauntlet across just about any and all styles and genres of music.  Expect anything from trip hop to techno, garage to footwork, most likely arriving at some level of future forward-thinking vibes which even Adam himself would struggle to classify.  Fundamentally opposed to playing his music the same way twice, his sets truly showcase the magic which only comes from unplanned and impromptu performances, each dialed in and evolving with every new crowd.   If you ever get the chance to see him in action, be sure to take it.  Each time you’ll witness something new, a one-of-a-kind dance floor thrill ride that won't ever be repeated or replicated.
