925 Jams #043 - Solyr (Vinyl Only)

words by Gaamer:

A deliberate step into darker techno territory, while keeping the depth, restraint and subtle intelligence at the core of my sound. Built around a carefully shaped flow, this mix is meant to pull you in gradually and keep you engaged from start to finish.

I’m deeply grateful for the creative freedom and for the opportunity to step outside my familiar territory and explore a different landscape. For me, it was a small challenge, a chance to push my own boundaries and see where my sound could take me.

Outsiders: mainstream-downstream (主流-下流) w/ Gaamer @ Kiosk Radio 25.08.2026

Having firmly established herself as a staple on the underground techno scene in her home-town of Moscow back in the mid-2000’s, Mary Yuzovskaya picked up her record bag and relocated to Berlin, where she soon become a regular fixture at clubs such as ;//about blank, Tresor and minimal bar.

As a result of Mary’s artisan-like approach to the craft of DJing vinyl-only techno, she soon earned herself a reputation in Berlin as one of the most professional DJ’s playing the techno circuit.

Now based in New York city since 2013, Mary’s habit of engraining herself in city scenes holds true; the move across the pond has seen her work as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon, launch her imprint ‘Monday Off’, and hold down a residency at NYC institution Public Records.

It’s been a while since the FH mix series was taken into territories that of darker tones, and we’re most grateful the responsibility has fallen into the trusted hands of someone so capable.
