The first single to be taken from Slam’s truly astounding upcoming album ‘Reverse Proceed’ sees the hypnotic Pattern A3 alongside some of Techno’s biggest and brightest new stars adding their own versions also.

Slam have chosen one of the major standout tracks from Reverse Proceed to set the tone prior to the album’s full release in late October. With the album built around the concept of varying sequences, it’s fitting that the first single be given such an apt name. Taken directly form the Cirklon sequencer pattern that helped design the track Pattern A3 features heavily modulating synths that seems to have a fully organic life of their own set against the typical backdrop of 909 drums. 

Following on from Slam’s original, Soma have enlisted the help of 3 of the label’s favourite contemporary Techno artists. Argentina’s Jonas Kopp is first up on remix duties and deliver an absolute pile-driver of a remix with his signature thudding drums and machine-gun like percussion firing rapidly against subtle and stripped synth elements.
 
Swedish based Bleak is a very welcome addition to this package as he offers his own ‘Modular Interpretation’. Heavy sub bass and intelligent drum work outs combine with yet more subtle hints of the original’s synth elements to give a more deep and introspective version. 

Rounding off the EP is latest Soma artist Charles Fenckler. The young French artist is making waves in Techno at the moment and has certainly delivered on this project, giving his version a much more minimalistic, stripped and ends up with a solid dance floor burner.

Etruria Beat is pleased to present the first EP of the talented duo from Modena Toms Due. Already appeared with the track "Part Of It" and more recently with the remix of Bastinov - Ellipse which has been played everywhere around the globe, today they offer two original tracks with a defined and aggressive sound plus two huge remixes from Etruria’s family.. Get ready to blow up some dance floors!

The EP opens with the remix of the label-boss Luca Agnelli, who brings a very techno track, full Robert Hood style, with a distorted kick and a Detroit chord that makes the rhythm obsessive and powerful. 

The second track is the original "Fly over", built around the melody and a solar chord hooked to a powerful 909 groove . It will be a nice breath of fresh air for the darkest consoles. 

The B1 is the track from which the EP take his name, "The Bridge", is nothing but search for the essential. Very few sounds that will make the atmosphere dark, an incredibly present kick and some 909 distorted hi-hats that ensures a breathless pace, until the last second. 

Finally, the "House" reinterpretation from the foot of Mount Vesuvius of the talent Dast,  who comes up with his version , influenced by a synth full of atmosphere but time-pressing at the same time.. Get your smiles ready, package is served!

Transmit's label captain Boris spearheads a milestone release bound to lift any dance floor in the air this winter. "Hard Drive" is a journey commencing with a crystal-clear sounding original mix. Energy loaded balance between percussions and vocals that make you want to scream out loud. Mladen Tomic's interpretation of Hard Drive replaces some of the energetic charge with irresistible groove, formulated by era-erecting claps and hihats. This fact changes completely with the remix of The Junkies. The vocal becomes distant and an atmospheric echoing pad fills the room with a disturbing notion. It is in that moment when you realize that you have been in the club for quite some time, and it is already the transition between the peak time and the afterhour. Hard Drive inevitably sends you home with much to think about.

This next release from label boss Boris, delivers a masterpiece for a big-room warehouse techno setting. Language possesses all the dark rolling drum patterns, heavy percussions and heaping layers that make up a classic industrial techno piece. Carlo Lio adds in pronounced kick and sizzling hi’s that continue to grow throughout the track, creating an energetic swell in the room. Language is one of those tracks that cannot contain its ability to take-over any size room.

Soma are proud to present the debut album from one of the most exiting Techno artists to spring out of the French scene in recent years, Charles Fenckler. A chance happening across his Soundcloud heralded some fine results for the Soma camp as back in 2014, the 20 year old Fenckler, exploded onto the label with the finely produced ‘Anklam’. Sporting such a mature sound for someone so young, his profile has been creeping up over the past 2 years, quickly gaining fans throughout the Techno community such as Jeff Mills, Marcel Dettmann, Josh Wink & Alan Fitzpatrick. His latest release in early 2016, Frozen Room saw him return to form after a short hiatus with the title track taking the scene by storm. With his debut album, Diving From The Void, Fenckler looks to continue his meteoric rise through electronic music.

Fenckler takes a heady dive straight into things as opener Voices In Your Head, with it’s droning yet uplifting quality, seeps eerily through before Immersion starts to up the pace of the album, it’s pounding kicks and percussive workouts sitting atop a glistening, acidic melody. Charles continues on an old school tip as the wild Stellar Acid comes hard and fast, complete with powerful breakdown moment. The rave inspired Frozen Room, already a massive hit from the youngster, clatters in once again as Charles then give a nod to UK-breakbeat with the contemplative Estrange. Things get back to techno business quickly as Flirting with Disaster & Subject X103 come thundering through but still, Charles brings an emotive element with both tracks laden with polished, ethereal pads. Originally released in 2015, District Two makes an appearance with its straight up, driven 909 percussive workout. The Unknown brings an air of minimalism with its sparse synths and groove laden drums whilst Anxiety’s sweeping drones and foreboding atmospheres follow before
the galloping Raven closes out the album at a ferocious pace

Charles has certainly explored all facets of Techno throughout this album and for someone still with much ahead of him, the future is certainly looking bright for this talented young Frenchman.
