"This EP is composed of two big tracks, the first one is called "Hypnosis" being a very melodic track   with a groove bassline and drums pushing around, we also got some AI vocals with spaceship fx to create the atmosphere. On the other hand We've got "Inertia" which is  a track with a very heavy lead sound and vocal pads with a very emotional breakdown. The purpose of this collab is  to deliver a good Ep to our fans in Sydney specially, as they've been supporting us from the very beginning and we're sure that both tracks will do very well"

Slam present Part 3 of their illustrious Transmissions with label debuts from Flug, AWB & Koichi. As with previous instalments, Transmissions aims to bring new faces in Techno to the forefront and the line up presented here demonstrates three artists who are really beginning to shine in their careers. 

Argentinian born Flug opens the EP with the heavy hitting Insects. Whilst a hammering drum workout runs through the track, Flug manages to keep things deep as it opens up with a perfect, sweeping chord driving home the ferocious beat. Frenchman AWB takes things along the deeper end of the spectrum with The Fifth Element. His sub heavy, broken beats glide gently against an air of uplifting pads, spaced out vocal cuts and trip synths. Closing things off we have Belfast based Koichi who really dirties things up with an absolute monster of a track, Aether. Moody and hypnotic, Koichi pushes things into the future with crazy rhythms and a wicked percussive workout.

Shlomi Aber makes his debut on Drumcode Ltd with a piercing four-tracker for the vinyl only offshoot.

Israel’s Shlomi Aber remains of techno’s most consistent artists, with a career stretching back 15 years. The label boss of Be As One, Aber has also had his music released on such imprints as R&S, Figure and Ovum, reinforcing his status as a purveyor of classy yet impactful techno. 

His contribution to Drumcode Ltd puts a fresh take on the classic pounding DC sound of the label’s early years, an era the DJ/producer has long been a fan of. Beginning with ‘Inflict’, the EP lays down its heavy-hitting intentions from the onset, as a persistent muffled vocal build beneath a bed of steely percussion, creating a dark tension-filled atmosphere. ‘Accelerator’ follows, the title track that was quite literally born at Basel’s own techno temple Nordstern this year when Aber crafted it into a stunning cavernous beast, using his 909 and XOXBOX Acid machine. ‘Typeface’ is stripped back and functional, an energy-packed tool for building extended techno journeys. The four-piece is rounded out by the fantastic ‘Rain Storm’, that lowers the intensity, as the six-minute cut introduces a new groovier element to the work and concludes the EP is sharp fashion.
