SQL is known for his warm yet energetic productions and live sets throughout the globe. This new EP is an absolutely rock solid four tracker with everything from happy summer warmth to smooth techno.

First up is Surrender. This could be one of the happiest, sunniest yet powerful tracks you’ll hear this summer! The chords, which open up beautifully in the break, are so optimistic and warm they could be prescribed as an anti-depressant. The groove on the other hand driven by über funky snares, claps and rattling high hats will make you want to take that new found optimism and pretend like Monday doesn’t exist!
 
‘Collect’ is a hypnotic groover with lots of energy and funk. With ever changing and evolving ambient noises in the background and a punishing chord bleep, this track has an almost sinister feel to it. As though you might be punished if you don’t rip up the floor.

‘Reveal’ is best used to end a warm summer day on an outside dance floor with your eyes closed. Grooving to the spacey synths and driving percussion. Be sure to have this one handy when the sun sets! Kassey Voorn rocks the EP with a more pumping approach with his remix focussing on a phat kick and bass line but with a melodic breakdown to catch your breath.

When three like David Kano, Ginebra and Kosmos share some studio time, the result can only be a track as big as “Fortasec”, the first release by two of the Tracy owners in ages and the beginning of a collaboration that will make . “Fortasec” is one of those tracks you love in a home listening but turns into a monster when you play it through a loud club sound system. The formula is simple and effective: solid house beats, deep bass, hypnotic synth and small surprises that traps the listener, including a killer drum roll to die for. But despite this apparent simplicity, "Fortasec" has something special that makes it stand and seduces unconditionally, one of those magical things that turn a track into something powerful. As if that were not enough the original "Fortasec" comes with three huge remixes by three excellent producers Bobmo, who injects some darkness and turns it into an acid monster, Shelby Grey makes it even darker, taking no prisoners and masterfully dropping some evil energy into it and Josh Mace who applies his distinctive personal touch to transform it into something magical.

The self professed ‘Dub Techno enthusiast’ has been involved in various musical activities in his time but has begun to focus more on the roots of his chosen sound throughout the last few years - bringing the traditional sound of Detroit & Berlin into his productions. This release (part 1 of 2) sees him delving into deep sonic experiments with ethereal soundscapes and atmospheres set to a backdrop of psycho-acoustic noise and static with the faintest of percussive elements helping to keep the rhythm. The release also features a special remix from one of Detroit’s best kept secrets as DeepLabs boss, Luke Hess turns in a perfectly crafted, Detroit inspired version of Stream.

ADNS is the sonic alias of Antonis Kolovos, a music producer and DJ originally from Greece and currently based in Berlin. With deep roots in electronic music culture, ADNS has been always involved, sometimes at the forefront, other times behind the scenes, continuously shaping and being shaped by sound.

His work lives in the tension between raw rhythmic energy and atmospheric depth, exploring the boundaries between techno, ambient, and experimental forms. Each production and performance is part of an ongoing dialogue, an endless resonance of exploration where sound becomes a vehicle for creativity, discovery, and connection.

His latest release, Bend or Break EP on Safeword Records Berlin, continues this trajectory. It is a raw, emotive, and deeply crafted statement that solidifies his evolving sound.

We are delighted to present to you the very first Vinyl release of an in-house discovery, Rethe debut. It’s a breeze of fresh air of dynamics and Ideas, his debut shows how techno can be technical and functional, but at the same time impactful and filled with emotions. Petals contains 6 tracks, making this a mini LP, but we want to call this a full-length work engineered for DJs, each cut is studied to the core and created to be as functional as possible yet emotional. This second selection of Pig and Dan remixes does not disappoint with a massive variety of sound and style, working from the foundation of innovation and quality production on which the originals were made.
The Butch remix of Doing It For Yourself grafts the innovative nature of Pig and Dan firmly onto the production of this version. The track spirals deeper and deeper, getting darker and creating a sound which will draw any listener into the intensity. The powerful progression of the track is best identified towards the end where a big imposing drop shifts the track about in a fresh and unexpected fashion. The track is full of character and coupled with its immaculate production conveys the space and impact of the original.
Coyu’s version of Lone range has plenty to identify the unique talents of the Barcelona producer. Suspense and space is developed throughout with the striking, nimble bassline dominating the drops and giving limitless energy to the track. As it begins the track builds and builds allowing the soundscape to splinter at key moments. The synths take on an industrial edge and mirror the bass and percussion to create a powerful whole which soars and offers another distinct element to this excellent collection of remixes.
The Spanish theme continues as DOSEM provides the first of two takes on Pig and Dan’s Natives. The Girona native blasts through the early ambience and flow of the track with great shifting rhythm patterns and various strains of melody which transform the original sound into an uplifting, nostalgic house track. These themes reach a crescendo on this version. Throughout, the driving kick drum and powerful percussion construct the basis for a unique and enjoyable track which is further extended through intricate melody and tempo.
The final remix on this record is Marc DePulse’s vibrant interpretation of Natives. The Leipzig based DJ and producer manages to bring a new focus to this special track. The original Natives is an exercise in experimenting with sonic themes and offers an interesting prospect for a remix. Unique tabla inspired ‘gulping’ bass beats work throughout the track as both an independent element of the sound and an important part of the track’s momentum. Fresh percussion elements and the swirling, echoing melody lines define a remix which pays homage to the originality of Pig and Dan’s production whilst accentuating some of the more striking elements.
