Glaswegian Techno pioneers Slam are back on @Soma with their first full EP release of 2024 with the stripped back and driving Wave Expansions EP. Hot of the back of their wildly acclaimed ‘Exhibit’ VAs, the duo once again stamp their authoritative sound across this expertly produced, 4 track EP. 

The EP closes out with ‘Bleak Runner’, offering densely packed atmospheric FX back another stripped back yet super effective and hard hitting track.

Title track ‘Wave Expansions’ opens the EP with trippy, electrified synths driving the core of the track before ‘Reprove’ delves deeper and darker with a gradually building lead that delivers the tension. ‘Retract’ is a perfect example of Slam’s mastery of minimalism as the ‘less-is more’ approach gives a subtly driving output. Closing out with ‘Bleak Runner’, densely packed atmospheric FX back another stripped back yet super effective and hard hitting track.

WSNWG’s catalog continues to expand with a new collaborative release. For the upcoming record Rødhåd teams up with the french producer and live performer UFO95 who also previously appeared on the ‚Crimson Rubeus’ compilation back in April. 

In the beginning of this year the two artists spend a week together in the WSNWG studio to recorded ‚LAVANDE‘ a powerfull 4 Track EP wich will be released on vinyl and in digital formats on the 7th of June. A Special Edition limited to 100 copies will be available on the same date at 12.00pm CET via the WSNWG bandcamp site.
