Continuing their ascent through the organic house underground, Mariner + Domingo return to Madloch's 3rd Avenue with a new three track showcase. 3rd & Sound Avenue has become somewhat of a home base for the talented American duo. A cross section of Mariner + Domingo's most beloved tracks have come courtesy of the long-standing imprint, most notably Le' Carnival', Edenwilde' and Another Life', the latter of which earned play, support and a Beatport chart feature from world class DJ and All Day I Dream boss Lee Burridge. Now as the world looks towards a period of rejuvenation, with dancefloors taking on new levels of satisfaction after an extended silence, Mariner + Domingo charm us once again with three stunning tracks across their latest 3rd Avenue vehicle 'Floating'.

Soulrack back to the label this time with a EP called ‘Alternative’ with a remix by German Brigante. This talented producer from the north of Spain is known for his characteristic House,Minimal and Techno productions with his old School touch, releasing on labels as Saved, Kneep deep in sound.

In the first track called 'Alternative' the acid sound of his roland 303 predominates, combining with a powerful groove of the Roland tr909 sound.
A track that takes you to the purest House style of the 90's era with the current one.

Second track is the remix by German Brigante who maintains the bassline of the original including some effects and percussions without losing the dynamics of the track, he also makes use of some synths to take the track to his Dirty style.
Music is the track which the artist closes this great ep. The artist delights us with a pure deep house track in the style of the 90s / 00s with some chords and of course his peculiar groove 909

As the world slowly emerges out of the darkness, a bright light radiates from the musical universe to reflect on those that opine it was "Just the Times". A new sonic construct positions itself with a clear and powerful message where the soothing melodic overtones of Daijan and Mango are harnessed by the emotive vocal phrasings of Ellae. A pulsing beat and spine-tingling chord progression combine with analogue warmth and comforting textured layers. Blinking blearily toward an uncertain future after global hibernation, Daijan's alternative interpretation creates a new reality borne of broken beats, broken hearts, and raw emotion.

Off the Florida coast, KAMADEV crafts a beautifully picturesque backdrop. Glistening off the warm cerulean waters in iridescent patterns, a glittering arpeggio provides a delicate vehicle to drive "Just the Times" into a new reality. Loquacious vocal sequences meander across the aural landscape where hope triumphs over adversity, and pain is eased by the soothing balm of Ellae's ethereal vocal.

Release Info: 
Brooklyn-bred Brian recently moved to Berlin and has returned to touring after an enforced break during the pandemic. Before that, he has quickly risen through the ranks and released on Bar 25, Infinite Depth and Balance, who put out his album ‘Meteorite Man’. The international press has been quick to single Brian out as one to watch and influential artists like Richie Hawtin and Tale of Us have played his music. Endangered is a label but also an event series that combines music with live performance and art, and this new EP is another fine example of its sound.

Says Brian of this latest release “Time is liquid and forever changing, adjusting & shaping itself to fulfill our deepest unconscious desires. Time gives us life, as water does, purifying our dusty karmic energy. I consider this project another chapter of the evolution of my sound. I believe that I slide into interesting territories never explored before. This EP reflects the manifestation of my deepest expression of self-empowerment. A very minimal musical approach yet filling and grandiose. A true intergalactic flight.”

Opener 'Time is Liquid' is a slow-burning deep techno roller that soon casts its spell. The vast drums and warm bass are detailed with a menacing synth lead and a constant sense of tension that keeps you locked in for the ride. 'Nostalgia' cuts a little looser, with jumbled percussion and bouncing kicks encouraging you to shake every limb. Deft synth work marbles the groove with a subtle sense of hope and light as this quietly arresting track rolls late into the night. The excellent 'Sombras Amigas' is another stylish mix of smooth and seductive drums and well-crafted synth work that entrances you as it unfolds with a hint of cosmic magic. Lastly, 'Bayahibe' is a lush melodic track with rich percussion, an array of mesmerising sounds and an overall sense of beauty that brings something fresh to the dance floor.

The ‘Time Is Liquid’ EP shows off Brian Cid's hugely considered and stylish sound in all its glory.

Coming all the way from Tel-Aviv via Istanbul, T-Puse and Menachem 26 join up for their inaugural drop on A Tribe Called Kotori with their lush and chugging collaborative debut, "Stav". Blending in the swaying roll of classic Middle-Eastern folk with processed club artillery, the pair develop a sound that pays a honest and forward-pushing tribute to the area's time-withstanding harmonics, throwing their all in casting a more modern light on secular musical tropes and reconfiguring them into vivid, EBM-oriented club material that lacks neither oomph nor soul, that is for sure.

Breaking the EP in, "Agafay" beckons us onto a hybrid pathway, astride tensile body workout wares and more oneiric-flavoured off-piste. As altered caravan rock riffs collide with snake charmers' melodies, further emphasis is laid on the potent but nimble bass which coordinates the groove to correspondingly hypnotic effect. All in opaque contours and brooding trompe-l'oeil at first, "Stav" treats us to a myrrh-scented bouquet of 21st century-ready bazaar churn, switching over lithely from steel-clad sturdiness to silken oriental belly-dance sensuality, via hi-impact techno bites and graceful electro muscle. Geared up for total floor-sweeping action, T-Puse & Menachem's maiden offering singles itself out as a precious DJ weapon, whether you opt for the opener's quirky swagger or the lead-single's eruptive voltage.
