Somatic Records continue their strong year with a debut release from rising Spanish talent Labert. Internal Desire EP consists of 2 originals showcasing Labert's talent both in the studio and on the microphone.
On remix duties we welcome back Space Food as they wrap their progressive touch around Internal Desire and leave us with a track designed for the dance-floors.

For our 1st release in 2022 we are delighted to welcome Ras Algethi & Gam3 to Somatic with their collab 'Someday'

Having debuted on BBC Radio 1 during our residency for 'Wind Down' we have been inundated with requests for a release date. Someday opens proceedings with its expansive synth chords generating a driving rhythm before the atmospheric pads and vocals take over to create a beautiful setting.
First up on remix duties & one of the most exciting trios to emerge in 2021 is London based Eynka. Their debut release landed on Solomun's label Diynamic & their music has been supported regularly by Pete Tong, Danny Howard & Sarah Story on Radio 1.

Also on remix duties we welcome another talent & a regular on the London clubbing circuit Dario Dea. His remix showcases many of his production hallmarks, delivering a smooth edge and nicely effected sounding components that keep building to culminate into a lovely melodic indie groover.

Ibai holds special significance with the duo Far Distance as they work between studios in Barcelona & Bilbao, they have been supported by Solomun, Sven Vath, Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure, Richie Hawtin & Carl Cox. They have also played at international events Tomorrowland Brazil, Amnesia Closing Party, Destino Ibiza & Diynamic Festival Argentina & have most recently released music on Darin Epsilon's label

First up on remix duties we welcome back label favourites Senses of Mind. The Belgium duo fresh from appearing on BBC R1 'Wind Down' show on Somatic have crafted a remix that has something unique and distinctive to make this release extra special, while applying an extra dose of groove and warmth to this incredible tune.
The guys have also included a very special 'breaks edit' of their own remix which is not to be missed.

Also on remix duties we welcome our sound engineer Gonzalo ' Soul Brucke' who steps out from the shadows of his warm masters that have fulled dance-floors around the World. His edit brings more groove with melodic techno influences, turning his rework into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. The added deep bass gradually eases its way to the breakdown, before unleashing into the rising melodic hook interwoven with the contagious groove for maximum effect.

Hope you'll enjoy the recording of my set I played at my favourite spot in Berlin, the Rummelsbucht <3.  I played right after Weniger is Mehr a.k.a Mehr is Mehr who delivered an amazing & their first ever 100bpm Slowtech set. I played a bit faster than usual, from 105 to 111 bpm :)
