Wuza Waves from Russia with love. Today we present to you a podcast that hits you with a different sound than usual. P.C.P. ( Perforated Cerebral Party ) are not only the couple behind the label Somatik Sound System and host of Somatikfestival in St. Petersburg. They bring a brutal, but in a good way brutal, sound which makes us even more excited about their upcoming release on Wuza Records.
Since the pair only exclusively plays livesets, their mixing game is on point. The mix contains several new tracks from the album that they are finishing at the moment, combined with tracks from the past. „We decided not to show all our new tracks yet - we kept the sweetest secrets to ourselves for now, so stay intrigued for the release!“

LEM&RBO продолжают исследовать нутро окружающего их мира. За шизоидным, лоуфайным, ладно, пост-модернистским синглом Берроуз – оммаж к Обеду нагишом и Раймонду Паулсу с его миллионом алых роз, они выдают жесткий и столь же ироничный сингл – Родина. 

Далее абзац для тех, кто любит задаться вопросом: что хотел сказать автор? 

Родина – проекция ощущений, пост-ирония о происходящем в эфире. Рефлексия на изменения в обществе, на политический и социальный фон внутри и снаружи страны. Тоска, конфликты, страхи перемен, меланхолия, гнев и бла, бла, бла. 
Так, через метафоры, слушателю предлагается поразмыслить о том, как груз прошлого мутирует в неопределенность будущего. Музыкальная составляющая релиза создана в лучших традициях петербургской школы Somatik Sound System – смесь холодного somatik techno и мелодекламации. Стоит ли говорить, что музыканты работают в своем жанре: melodeclomatik, пожалуй – да. 

Без пафоса. Когда-то ДДТ голосом Шевчука рассказали об “уродине” современников, Сегодня LEM&RBO создают свою мифологию Родины, застрявшей между лирикой Дельфина и Кровостока.

The founders of Somatik are Tsaritsa Logiki and Vova PCP - members of famous underground Russian electronic band «Perforated Cerebral Party».  It presents slow rave: hybrid of slowed electro/techno with deep dirty bass lines and industrial influences. This is a new Russian ghettopsychedelic futuristic music wave called "somatik techno". Brand’s music and philosophy reflects perception of the new generation raised in the concrete jungle: cyberpunks, post humanists, acid-fed internet freaks. Their fans tattoo symbol of faith on their bodies - "om wifi" - the ancient Om sign combined with Wi-Fi pictogram.
