For the international day of feminist empowerment we talked with @dabelka artist about her early beginnings in the scene of Electronic Music in Novosibirsk, Russia (or USSR by that time). 

Masha reflects about the interaction of state repression and arts and the discrimination of women in Electronic Music, which made her initiate Viennas first female-led DJ-school with a non-exclusive focus on women called Turntablista.

La Dame is a French producer and a global beats/global bass dj who takes people on a journey to the four corners of the world, always using surprising breaks and percussive sounds. 
Always moving, since she has been living outside her native country for the last ten years, she is inspired by the places where she lives to enrich her musical narrative, based on beats, Latin America and Afro music, bass music, house, jazz, etc.. 
3 EPs and lots of remixes on labels in France, US, Peru and Czech Republic tell her love of joyful and drums approaches to the music. Not only she has a unique taste and an impeccable technique, she is also generous: activist for the emancipation of womxns with the projects Wicked Girls (party promoter) and Future Female Sounds France (NGO education), she also delivers monthly radio shows with taste and good humor on Radio Meuh (FR-Brazilian music only show) and Kiosk Radio (BE- eclectic mood show).

3 EP e tanti remix su etichette francesi, statunitensi, peruviane e ceche ci dicono del suo amore per le percussioni e del suo gioioso approccio alla musica.

The founders of Somatik are Tsaritsa Logiki and Vova PCP - members of famous underground Russian electronic band «Perforated Cerebral Party».  It presents slow rave: hybrid of slowed electro/techno with deep dirty bass lines and industrial influences. This is a new Russian ghettopsychedelic futuristic music wave called "somatik techno". Brand’s music and philosophy reflects perception of the new generation raised in the concrete jungle: cyberpunks, post humanists, acid-fed internet freaks. Their fans tattoo symbol of faith on their bodies - "om wifi" - the ancient Om sign combined with Wi-Fi pictogram.
