Somatoast returns to Gravitas Recordings to bring us his heavily anticipated downtempo release, 'Live Dreaming'. These 7 tracks are a graduation from his signature circus dub to more mature and serious journey-like compositions. The album showcases Mark's multi-instrumental abilities at his most acoustically composed body of work-- incorporating touches of guitars, bass, violin, percussion, keys and voice performed and recorded by Mark himself. This human touch allows listeners a peek into more emotional realms of Mark's experience as he sought an outlet for his personal trials and tribulations. But by no means is the prevailing experimentation of sampling and synthesis excluded. It is this electro-acoustic fusion that breathes life into a grounding yet other-worldly listening experience. Over 3 years of work culminates a crystal clear broadcast of Somatoast's auditory vision for electronic downtempo.
