Arctic soundscapes with a haunting yet warm voice full of emotions, this is how Inyha paints her inner emotional world where ice & snow covers the warmth of her heart, where walls of silence create distance, where mirrors of ice show her own disguise, while all she longs for is nearness and love. Inyha’s first release, an indie baroque pop song, was influenced by Tori Amos’ Winter song, but also evokes influences of Lhasa de Sela & Lana del Rey.

The Paris based artist of Austrian origin writes songs about love, life & the beauty of nature, a nature she deeply feels connected with and regularly ventures out to during her road trips, journeys and long distance hikes. Her artist name, which is made up of syllabus of her “real” name, refers to a character in a fiction novel about a Native American community. It’s the spirit of the Native American community, the love of nature, freedom and independence, which made Inyha decide for this name, a community she feels inspired by since her early adolescence.

Even though this is her first official release, Inyha has been around in music for more than 10 years, singing, writing, playing guitar and piano and producing her songs from beginning till end. Authenticity and emotions are the elements that count the most for her in music. This is why she often uses a rather minimal style in her productions, where even silence has its part to play, where classical influences and cinematic sounds can meet with pop music & dreamy soundscapes.

Back in June 2021 if you had asked me how is your DAW? - I would have said (thinking you had asked about a 'door') it is fine but it could do with some oil on the hinges! 
Then, thanks to my youngest son (The Hound of the Baskerville, check him out on SC) who explained what a DAW was I am now 18 months on and over 400 tracks on SC (and with nearly 16,000 plays on Amazing Radio) - quite a journey. 
Obviously, it is safe to say I had this creative music gene hidden deep inside me.  A big thank you to all the great people I have met and corresponded with, all the very talented people who I have the great pleasure of listening to.

Experimentation breeds creativity. I enjoy trying to fuse different music styles - sometimes it works and other times, well let us just put it down to 'experience'!
