The Walkabout is an alt rock band based in Chicago, IL. Brought together by Columbia College Chicago's Recording and Performance Ensemble class, the group strives to create driving rhythms and melodies accented by flourishing guitars and lofty harmonies that envelope the listener and accent meaningful lyrics. The members come from various musical backgrounds, which gives the band an array of sounds to choose from. The group puts an emphasis of creating music that is completely collaborative so that the music always feel organic.

Babelism is an indie rock ensemble that thrives on blues fusion progressions, soulful vocal harmonies, and groove-laden backbeats. Each member of Babelism brings their varied musical backgrounds together to foster new sounds. Their distinct approach to the fusion of blues, soul, and rock combined with their lush harmonies create an original groove that stirs new tides. Their songs touch on life, love, and self-reflection, and are scattered with instrumental trade-offs and solos. The narrative lyrics keep listeners hanging on to every word while the beats inspire a rhythmic voyage in all souls alike.
