Exploration and experimentation have always been the driving force behind Hamburg based citizen Clap Codex. It therefore only makes sense that these traits would at some point lead him to the world of electronic music production. By exploring the anatomy of his musical preferences and capturing those emotions in his own productions he soon discovered the aesthetic principles of his trademark style; catchy melodies followed by epic breakdowns and powerful drops to generate that „bass-face“ moment in the club. Although it is no easy feat to pursue such a passion and work in the academic sector at the same time, the creative and cathartic facets of the techno culture perfectly serve as a counterweight to that struggle. So far, his tracks have received critical acclaim from acts such as Lane 8, Matchy, Miss Monique and many more. Clap Codex has already shown that handling academics and creativity simultaneously can not only work, but also fosters success, so let‘s see what the interaction of these two will bring us in the future...

Mit 17 Jahren begann er seine musikalische Reise im Kinderzimmer, wo er Underground Hip Hop Beats bastelte. Was als Hobby anfing, entwickelte sich schnell zu einer Leidenschaft für Musik. 
In den Jahren von 2005 bis 2010 war er maßgeblich am Aufbau der Beats für die oberbergische Hip Hop Formation Inflabluntahz beteiligt, insbesondere beim Album "Director's Cut" im Jahr 2007.

Als er sich 2015 in die Welt der digitalen Controller wagte, fand er schnell seinen ganz eigenen Stil, der Elemente aus Techno, Trance, Pop und House Musik vereint. Seine Musik ist geprägt von melodischen Klängen und lässt noch heute die Einflüsse aus seiner früheren Hip Hop-Zeit erkennen.

Erste Erfahrungen als Veranstalter sammelte er sieben Jahre später: Mit Gründung der Formation Optix startete die gleichnamige Event-Reihe. Es war der Beginn einer aufregenden neuen Ära in seiner Karriere: Auf dem ersten Optix im Ohr-Festival trat er erstmalig vor Publikum auf und begeisterte die Zuschauer mit seiner energetischen Performance.

Im Jahr 2024 folgte die Optix im Ohr Winter Edition, bei der er erneut sein Talent und seine Leidenschaft für die Musik unter Beweis stellte. Zusätzlich war er auch Teil der Veranstaltungs-Reihe "We Are One", bei der er mit seinem einzigartigen Sound die Menge zum Tanzen brachte.

Seine Biografie ist geprägt von einer langen Reise durch verschiedene Musikgenres und einem stetigen Streben nach kreativer Weiterentwicklung. Mit jedem Auftritt und jeder Veröffentlichung entwickelt er seine Leidenschaft weiter, lernt begierig dazu und vermag es ein ums andere Mal, die Menschen mit seiner Musik zu berühren. 
Die Zukunft sieht vielversprechend aus für diesen aufstrebenden Künstler, der mit seinem einzigartigen Stil die elektronische Musikszene bereichert.
