I have been making music as a hobby since 1981 with school as an organist and hand organ and then since 1985 I have been a DJ in many mobile discos thanks to the Italo Disco. In 1990 I recorded mixtapes and long megamixes on 8-track reel to reel machines in a studio and that's how I started producing my own tracks.

From 1987 to 1990 I worked with Danny Amsler (Fresh Color) for three years at the "Studio 75" Record store. That's when I also met Michel Huwi (Mike Franzis Age - Shocked), who ran a larger recording studio.

From 1987 to 1992 I regularly visited the discotheque "L'Altro Mondo Studios" in Rimini and got to know the resident DJ Luca Belloni and Antonello (The Creatures).

From 1990 to 1998 I produced various remixes for the Eurodance and House scene with different people.
In 1998 a first CD was released with various house/dance tracks with DJ Flying High and me as Dj Phobia, then the name was changed to DEE-jay PHO-bia, shortly then DeePho, hence this name!

December 31, 1999 11:59 p.m. I worked as a DJ for the last time and then dedicated myself fully to music production and setting up my own studio.

2000 - 2004 produced several Trance tracks with 2 young and talented guys.

In 2004 the first vinyl with the WebDjs and as a lover and cultural preserver of Italo Disco the "AmbrA - Dream The Summer Back" composed by Marcello Fabbro, produced and founded our own label "White Rose Records" with Marcello, Thomas and Dani.

2009 then the cooperation with Kimmo Salo (Flashback Records) with my Ricci Remix from "Tom Hooker - Change Your Mind" and then as short Ri-Mix who will used till today.

In 2006 he got together with James Manoro, who in the 90s had the stage name "Jo Fox - Love At First Sight" and "Feeling Has Gone" where Humphrey Robertson and Michiel van der Kuy were produced.

And since then, more and more inquiries have been received from labels such as Universal Music Group, Flashback Records, ZYX Records, SRF Television and others. Tracks and remixes of mine have appeared on various labels and compilations e.g. SP-Records Ltd., Analog Language etc.

I am a composer, remixer, studio musician, arranger and sound designer and certified audio engineer.

Flemming Dalum, also know as King of the cut, discovered his musical journey at an early age. An interest based out of curiosity for electronic synthesizer legends emerging while he grew up. With his first synth, the Korg Polysix, a lifelong passion was born. He started playing in bands in 1982, experimenting with electronics and the new world of sounds and possibilities. At the same time he started experimenting with records and discovered a natural talent for mixing and blending synths with records, creating his own unique world of sound. In mind that the CD wasn't invented, neither was the HD recorder, the heart in Flemmings set-up was a simple cassette recorder. An invention that should soon add yet another angle to his musical universe. With snappy skills and imagination, the cassette soon became his most important instrument taking him to the next level. The world of mixing. With sampler, echomachine, decks, synths and a beloved cassette recorder, the first true mixes came out of his studio already in 1983. Mixes with so much detail, soon giving him the legendary name "King of the cut". In the same year, 1983, Flemming stumbled across Koto "Chinese Revenge", a discovery that should soon lead Flemming into a brave new world matching his own, with synths and electronics being the heart of the music. The passion became strong and shortly after the Koto discovery, brought him to his first trip to Milan, Il Discotto, Discomagic, Non-Stop, Merak etc. to investigate the Italo phenomenon in detail. The following years Flemming visited the Italian distributors 11 times which later proves to be one of the major reasons to the fact that he has one of the worlds most complete collections of Italo and Disco. Through the years, the synths has been replaced with computers and equipment matching the urge for mixing. Something that has kept the true Italo spirit alive and made Flemming Dalum a legend in mixing today.
