Introducing Alya, a DJ and producer hailing from Toulouse, who has been making significant strides in the electronic music scene since 2017. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of genres including afro, disco, funk, and hip hop, Alya has cultivated a distinct style within the realm of house music, characterized by its fusion of dark and sunny, minimalist grooves.
A pivotal year for Alya was 2018, during which he founded the acclaimed 'Candyz' crew, known for its vibrant and imaginative parties themed around candy in cities like Paris and Nantes. These events quickly gained notoriety, attracting renowned DJs and collectives such as PAWSA, Timid Boy, and others from the Parisian scene. Additionally, Alya became a member of the esteemed Secte collective based in Perpignan, further solidifying his position in the industry and providing opportunities to collaborate with top-tier artists.
In 2022, Alya made the strategic move to Toulouse to further develop his career in the thriving southern French music scene. Since then, he has garnered recognition from prominent labels such as Encasa Records and Paint Benit, while his tracks have received support from influential figures in the industry including Marco Carola, Loco Dice, and Jamie Jones.
Alya's dynamic performances have graced stages across France, from cities like Paris and Nantes to festivals such as Garorock and Les Déferlantes. With his innovative approach to music and an ever-expanding repertoire, Alya continues to captivate audiences and push the boundaries of electronic music.
